They might have given a warning or something but in his OWN blog talking about the 3rd chapter he tags the game as incest.That is why the dialogue in like chapter 4.5 on the way to get the pizzas is still being written as the taboo of Nami's feelings as if they are related. He cannot explicitly state that but if they introduce themselves to classmates as friends, these classmates who do not know their whole background, would not see anything weird in them making out.
That is as explicit as Ocean can be while covering his ass with Patr

Yes there's limited, explicit reference to a biological relationship in the current Patreon version. Mostly scraps left behind after the retcon jaw1986baby mentioned.
However, up until Chapter 3 they were explicitly biological siblings in the Patreon version. And anyone who's paying attention ever since. Nothing to do with innuendoes and conjectures. And I for one don't love incest, but that's the way the story was written.

Last week I was wearing the vanilla game version defender's hat, and it's damn hard to find a plausible explanation for why the characters say what they say while staying within the vanilla version. The nature of the relationship between some characters is visible to everyone, and in WIAB it's even worse. Friend Leia, my ass
But I would die of delight if he managed to turn the plot so that it was flawless regardless of some characters relationship.I think what strikes me is that it seems other characters raise the question like they know something Nika and Nami do not. I also prefer they are not siblings, unless it's integral to the story. I think it's enough that they have the stigma of practically being "siblings" simply on account of being brought up that way by Nojiko since they were 3 (Nika) and 4 (Nami).
Since they share the Cyrus surname, I assume they were legally adopted, although I don't recall that being implicitly mentioned in the game.
The I-patch concept is obviously perfectly fine, but not at the expense of coozing the story continuity and logic of the Vanilla version (and I say this on the assumption that after a successful Steam release, the majority of players will likely be playing a Vanilla version, unless Ocean takes the risk...).

Man, I love Bella, but it broke my heart to see Nami cry, fuck this game, fuck this dev and fuck every single person that recommended this amazing game. Instead of a blueballing warning, we should have a too much feels warning.
My only solace is the fact that people seem to imply that Nami + Bella is possible, because I am already regretting my choice.

I don't think it's just an implication. If I recall correctly, Ocean has said so outright, albeit being a path with a fair bit of hurdle to clear.

Yeah, a very strong emotional scene, especially these contrasting images, like Amber being happy for her daughter and wishing her a good date vs. Nami trying to put on a brave face and hiding her pain behind a parting hug like she'll never see him again.

When Willi tells Kati that he can always get under her skin even today, she answers him that as long as he does not get under Leia´s skirt all is good. Well, if the teaser pics we got for ch.3 are to believed, on the "reconciliation with Leia too" path he even keeps to that. Leia does not wear a skirt then...And we also see that Willi sends a very enjoying look down Leia´s dressneck at breakfast, Helen is spying on the two what they do when alone, there is still something between the two.
While only some bits of old WiaB´s storyline will be transfered to new WIAB, there was a scene in the old version where Willi and Leia are in bed together. They only go down on each other, because Leia is unprotected. But they keep it like that not because she is fertile, but Leia says herself, she would fuck him right here, but she does not know currently if he will be staying in Wollust.
So I tihnk in any of the WiaB storylines were Willi and Leia reconcil we can be rather sure Ayua will have halfsibling(s).

But I really liked the remastered Miru, and if William treats her well, she reveals herself as a very caring, witty and loyal person, always standing by MC's side, helping him reconnect with his, *wink*-*wink*, friends. Agree for the most part but as you know, we hardcore gamers are a very superficial bunch so it should be obvious that I would kill everyone in this room and then myself for a simple smile from the russian assassin with the scarred face. That is the way it's meant to be played. Don't really give two shits about the others but that could change at any given moment. Or in like 2 years when the next patch will drop.

You know what game just absolutely fucking broke me? My Bully is My Lover. (Which he's got to come with a better name for, or at least one that makes telling people this not quite so embarrassing.)
The thing I've discovered I like about this medium, when it's something other than pornography, is an element of completely unselfconscious melodrama I've never come across anywhere else in modern fiction. I mean, Summer's Gone is about a traumatized grouch picking which girl to date freshman year of college, and Ocean's turned that into a grand Byronic tragedy through sheer aesthetic power and totally unwavering commitment to the idea that it all matters.
I can't think of any other contemporary form that can pull off that level of sincerity. Even the best of it has this morbid level of self-doubt baked in from the get go. As if every human passion is just a passing malady to get through on the way to a proper state of broken indifference.
