I think the raccoon is just a mascot. I don't think Ocean really has a plan for it in either SG or WiaB, he just likes the silliness of it. Maybe some kind of fan service to something? ...next update maybe we'll find out it's Nika's daddy

He’s got seasonal dickpression and it only perks up in summer. Past trauma has caused him to have severe depression and panic attacks. This has lowered his libido a lot hence dick no work.

After Summer's death, Nika fell into depression and became an emo. Because of that the guild of emo magicians extended him an invitation to join it, in exchange for his powers they took away his ability to have an erection. Thanks to this nika went from being a skinny guy with a noodle body to a muscular gigachad with a jaw so square that you could cut diamond with it, in a short period of 5 chapters. That's why Nika doesn't have erections, do you like the explanation?.

Because the first season features no sex content. And the author of the game is a kind of perfectionist, so since the MC's penis is not yet in use, it is carefully put in energy-saving mode. Once the sex content comes out in the next season, so will the erection.
I disagree re: seeing SG season 3.
I believe that I will see Summers Gone Season 3, I just don't know the year I see the first iteration of S3.
Now, I don't Know this any more than you Know we will never see S3 so ...

I started reading the series A Song Of Ice And Fire when the first book came out in 1996.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series - which has taken years longer to reach fans than we hoped for - 28 years after the release of the first book.
It is part of the price we pay for supporting someone with a grand vision.
Ocean/Summers Gone is the most ambitious dev/AVN I am supporting with my $ and my time.
I don't expect everyone to agree with me/my view of Ocean/SG any more than I expect everyone to be willing to wait for the next book in the series that served as the basis for GOT.
Feel free to respond as above every 6 months for the next ten years, if you feel this is the best use of your time.
I'll be here, on this thread, sharing what I enjoy about Summers Gone, and I believe my time will be well spent...

I've seen it mentioned in 1 of the dev logs that new hardware would allow him to increase the number of updates per year.So you were here in October, disappointed about an update that had no lewd scenes, even though SG Season 1 Clearly has no lewd scenes.

Ocean Never said that the new hardware would 'make the update cycle a few months' Nor is it 'about year between each update as usual.'
The new hardware Does give him the ability to create more immersive images for SG and WIAB - something his older hardware limited.
If you are actually interested in SG, each dev log gets posted on this thread and you can read the specifics for yourself.
If, on the other hand, the facts get in the way of what you are posting, then that is a different story...

And the ingame image says "no sex scenes", fine no sex yet. But not to the point where it is dry. Some eye candy would be good, except the dev thinks some random boob showing is something good without the hotness factor. Only worthy scene in the whole of S1 was the hot tub one.
So no, facts aren't getting in the way of what I'm posting. If the dev wants to make this a full time profession and wants big monthly contributions, he should deliver.
And barely anybody cares about cinematic transitions in a porn game which is probably what is hogging the hardware trying to create it.

Deliver what exactly? Have you counted how many updates there are between this and WiAb in the time frame they have been out? Far more than many developers actually.

ha, what are you on about this game not making "big" money... Ocean has more than 1400 subscribers just on patreon. Even if you just calculate with the lowest tier, that's more than 4k a month (and I'm pretty sure many people are in higher tiers)... in reality I think it might be closer to 10. Also there is subscribestar. When S1 releases on steam (and probably itch) those numbers will go up significantly. So stop talking nonsense.
Also it's not a porn game, learn the difference. It's a visual novel with adult elements.
