We aren't on Patreon, however the game is (originally, then leaked here), which is why a patch would be needed since it's not included in the version available to patrons. This had been discussed ad nauseam in the DMD thread around chapter 1 when that game was removed after Patreon insisted no incest content; hence the reason why the dev chose SubscribeStar for games with that particular content (such as DMD for example). That being said, it is still available on Patreon without the patch for the reason I mentioned above.

I don't believe that's what was asked. I believe the OP wants to know how Ashley's daughter (who isn't blood related to the MC) could be considered as "incest". The answer is simply this; Patreon considers step* as incest as well.

The patch doesn't seem to do a whole lot though. When you check her character info, it does list her as half-sister and states you have the same father, but there seems to be very little in the dialogue that backs it up. At least, not as much as I'd expect there to be in certain scenes, or hope there would be. I don't necessarily need every sentence to reference it outright, but especially when things get sexy, it should be something that's at least acknowledged a bit more explicitly. Unless I'm missing something entirely and the dialogue just didn't patch for me.

Dots and any other dev on their platform. But there are other ways besides the patch to get around that. Another example would be where you, the player, can alter the relationship parameters at the beginning of the game (there's quite a few VNs like that now). It doesn't appear as if Patreon is cracking down on those, though. But anything related to family in the title or overview -- even step-siblings -- is forbidden and could cause the dev to have to remove the game (as Dots was forced to do in the past) or get banned from the platform. That is why you do not (and will not) see DMD on Dot's Patreon.

Yea, I'm considering adding it to public release. We'll see but this may end up just another personal use and passed to the mod testing members group. I'll flesh it out more and see if it's worth me adding it to the routine upkeep list. Some teasers of the initial rough port WIP below but you folks that are already accustomed to SanchoMod know the polish and attention to detail to expect if released. I'll keep y'all posted. In a nutshell, if you have an older Android phone (more than 2 years old), it's safe to presume that the download link may not work for you.
Our apologies for this, we'll see if we can find a way around this when we do our revision of SL in December.

If I'm not mistaken, the issue with the 7.3 renpy isn't that it is broken per se, but that that version is trying to grab necessary android files from a URL that doesn't exist any more.

Just know that the mobile porting folks 'round here are working behind the scenes to see what they can do...dev might have raised the white flag for now. RenPy 7.4.10 just dropped yesterday so give it a bit and see if there's viable a solution soon.
