first off, it's 2.0.4 (4th update chapter 2) and not 0.0.4How come 0.0.4 is only 1.43GB when 0.0.3 is 2.47GB? Am i missing something?
Second: images are better compressed. Size is not everything XD (oh wait - that sounds alike another topic

you can see it by it's name:
2.0.4i -> the "i" stands for incest, so it's obviously the pre-patched subscribestar version

Theoretically/Technically/Hypothetically, it's 0.04, as that is how the directory is named. I'll tell ya, the way some devs are versioning their games and how the uploaders are doing it is always a pain. Well, i assumed it could be something like that, but over 1GB compression? That's a lot if the image/animation quality remains the same.

I can't provide save files bud. None of my save files will work for folks. The mod variant I use personally is not compatible outside of having my personal mod variants. Someone else should be able to assist depending on your pathing choices.
I didn't say you didn't. It's just that they sometimes differ from what YOU (the developers) release, and what the uploader posts. Also different DLs have different versions (Patreon/SubscribeStar), and patches. As a player, it can sometimes be a bit confusing. Just saying. I had such a moment when half-sis pulled her "Can you stay just a little longer, until I know I can keep the hotel afloat on my own" shtick. Of course, meaning, I won't let you go, ever, because I'll just come up with a new cop-out when the need arises. And then following up with, would you stay if you were single. And I was like, the only thing that would make me stay is the unlikely event that Nicole decides to move to Sunshine Bay as we are a package deal.
Unfortunately, the game wouldn't let me say that.

i understand that the game is too complex to make all the possibilities and paths fully sorted out but you'd think if you have -35 points with those two miserable lolis that it would actually mean something and that you'd be spared of cringy scenes with them

Judging from the last reviews, people seem to finally realize that the dialogues and story are boring as fuck. And sure maybe 6 female characters look great (others look like procedurally generated NPCs) but the sex scenes are ultra boring. I don't think there was even a MFF scene other than with the twins.

If I'm being honest it's really not that complex and what you are suggesting is highly doable... if there was a desire to do so. Personally, my mods do not restructure scripts (aside from a periodic voluntary split scene choice) but the relp and event vars are there and can be utilized to prerequisite anything. Just sayin' it wouldn't be difficult. It's obviously a dev decision to make them playout the way they do and nothing more. It's that simple really.
