Sadly no, Locale Emulator isn't perfect, and this game's code is WAY too chaotic for it. I've left my PC on Japanese locale for years. There's 3 things I've noticed it changes, but they're all pretty negligible IMO:Thanks, King. Your suggestion was correct, and it was indeed the Locale Emulator. It's just strange that it doesn't work for this particular game. Do you have a clue about a possible fix? Switching to Japanese Locale makes me feel that I'm going to mess up something with my PC and I feel compelled to switch back to English Locale after playing.
1) If you use numpad codes (Alt+####), some of the resulting unifonts will change on a different locale.
2) When running certain installers, they will use your system locale instead of your system language to choose which language they display. This will result in the installer showing you text in Japanese. THAT BEING SAID, this will usually only apply to archaic installers that don't actually have any options that require user input.
3) The \ will show itself as a Yen sign in the Command Prompt. This doesn't matter as long as you know about it, since Command still recognizes it as a \
