God damnit, God damnit How long will I have to see Ella as a character? I can't believe it. I just can't believe how one single character ruined the entire experience of this game for me. Is she a AUthor's pet? So far she hasn't faced any problems and succeeding in every gaslighting endeavors of hers? Why? Just Why?

Ella is a sadist snake the way she talks and lies the MC knows she is lying but he is to weak to do any Real plan against her alice rebirth was a fluke and she makes clear she is a stalker and she use any means to her ends
What are you even talking about? Infecting James was a failure. Infecting Kenny was a massive fuck-up. Ella got splattered across a city by Alexis and Clark, wasted a month searching for her lost Stone and had to go crawling to Jared's dad to find it. That took another month.
The MC knows Ella tasked Jake with killing him. Her attempt at gaslighting the MC about Deryl falls flat and he can be openly angry about what happened. Then, there's Deryl 2.0 who keeps catching glimpses of what she's up to through his Monster self. Doesn't know about him.
Finally, the MC hid one of his monster traits from her. As far as Ella knows, his only power is transformation. All her elaborate plans to get the MC to evolve are so he unlocks the right trait for her needs. He already has it, she just can't see it.
Ella got her losses in early. Now, she's on a winning-streak. Give the game a break until that streak ends if she ruins it for you.

dude, have you never heard of an Antagonist? they are put in the story to be a Foil for the Protagonist of course they will manipulate & gaslight people it is part of their role and Ella is the perfect Foil for the MC because they have pretty much the exact same powers just on different levels.
can you imagine Batman without the Joker, Superman without Lex Luthor, Professor X without Magneto? Every Hero has to have a Villain counterpart

Ella got the biggest L when she found out she wasn't "the one" after she reached lvl 5. It's not like she's untouchable. Her gaslighting did get annoying though. Especially during majority of Jake's encounter. As a character, she's fine as she is, to be frank. It wouldn't be as fun if she wasn't plotting something behind our back all the time. When she's finally tamed by the MC, it'll feel more rewarding.
On the subject of her not knowing our 2nd power. I'm still curious about why Mother didn't do anything when she clearly knows we have it via the link. I mean, I've had the theory that it's because we passed a certain threshold(reached 2nd evolution) for what they planned to do originally and it's better to keep us since we proved to be a perfect greater spawn for them, after said linking. I'm just wondering if it'll be revealed why they haven't did anything while knowing everything.
The protection could be part of it though and that is probably why they intervened so heavily after we reached lvl 2. Such as helping us break Jake's mind control, fighting with the 1st in a mental battle(in prison) and possibly killing it during the final battle. They even gave us warnings to get stronger for what's about to come.
I guess there's no sense in thinking about it, for now. The update is right around the corner so I'll wait until after seeing what goes down in there first.

Sort of. They seem to be working together or in an alliance of some kind. Technically all of the numbered are siblings since they're all supposedly parts of a singular monster entity. That's not confirmed fully yet but it's hinted heavily when you meet Valravn(Raven monster).
You can also share a monster parent with Ella if you choose the black/purple monster(the 3rd) at the beginning of the game. It was hinted at a lot by Ella but confirmed in the current update that she indeed shares the same monster parent. If you pick the brown monster(the 4th), then you're it's only spawn.
The characters and the story aside, the monster stuff is probably what interest me the most in game. Seeing the 1st for the first time gave me chills and then we finally got to see the 2nd. They're as powerful and cool looking as we'd imagine. I can't wait to see the 5th and 6th because with the way the numbered operate, we definitely haven't seen them yet(probably the monster that killed the 4th but that's a whole other can of worms).

Ella is that character that I just have a love/hate relationship for (she's an amazing antagonist) and I'm honestly just curious how she'll act whenever Weird goes back to the first major choice of escaping/staying at the party since she mentioned it was a learning experience for MC but if MC escapes that could case a whole situation between her and MC she it was done for them to get stronger (Perhaps MC will be even more distrustful of Ella than in the stay and fight route).

We definitely know that Ella doesn't care if her "Chosen One" is smart or strong (a strong one is better), we know this because Deryl was immediately denied the title, despite, potentially, being able to prove his strength in combat against us and Jake, and being the smartest guy we know. As such it is safe to say that Ella cares about her chosen having a special type of power, or at least being able to develop it down the line with evolution.
The opinion that the special ability is stealing memories and others powers is just dumb, the only reason it is even considered a possibility is because of a power fantasy.
Of the four potential "Chosen Ones" the only thing they had in common, that i noticed, was the affinity to telepathy.
- The two jocks were both sons of the big tidy snake lady, who we know can use it to communicate with her minions, and to speak to us during the "Fight of the Titans".
- Jake can literally control others minds, it is not that big of a stretch that he will learn how to speak to them that way (probably his 3rd evo, since it would mean he no longer gets fucked by people in headphones).
- MC might not have telepathy per se, but mind reading can be used as a shitty one way laggy form of it (someone thinks something, MC reads the latest memory and hears the thought).
This leaves the question of why the fuck does Ella care, and why can't she just use the Miniyak or any other monster for the job. The reason monsters don't fit might be because none of them would do the thing she wants (might be considered heresy to them), or because all of the telepaths are members of the faction that is hostile towards her. Imo she most likely went after the MC (and the other 'chosen' ones) because they were easier to control/manipulate and a monster would just 'rebel' in some way, we see this with the monster (can't remember it's name) the MC has under them, said monster had 'mother' control her momentarily and attack the MC. With the 'chosen' that won't happen or its just very unlikely to happen.
