I really hope that this isn't the last arc. I feel that there is still a lot to happen and many arcs to finish.

In my opinion, if the next arc would truly be the last one, I mean "end of the game" kind, it will be an open end or worse, a rushed one. Unless he announces something related to a sequel of course.

We've been explicitly told in game that we are now in the final arc. A lot of people of people are saying this is just the end of part 1, but:

1. WW said that his next project won't be Superhuman
2. The only "confirmations" of SH2 is WW saying he would like to visit it again in the future, which just means maybe if I feel like it

When WW said his next project won't be Superhuman, he hadn't decided to split Superhuman in two. He literally said that once Superhuman 1 is finished he's going to go right onto Superhuman 2.

Ok I intially downloaded a earlier version like in 2022 when things were just starting out and now that I've come back all I can say is WHAT THE FUCK!?

This is unironically one of the greatest visual novels i've ever fucking read in my life with characters and lore out the ass that would Tolkien blush and go "genius". Im now actually sad that I delayed playing this fucking thing for so long because looking at the thousand pages of interaction and discussion makes me depressed. I could have been one of the nerds gushing and sharing ideas like crazy. FUCK.

I just started the Jake Arc (just finished the beach event), and I've already decided I'm killing him at the first opportunity. LOL!

After what he did to Mia, I was DONE!!!

He's so weak (mentally and emotionally), that annoys the shit out of me. There's a reason Ella choose him to do her bidding (because of how easy he would be to manipulate).

Hopefully it'll end with some of them complete, and a lot left for the sequel.
I don't know why making Superhuman 2 is the option chosen, instead of just making this one, and then adding more to it.

Maybe a new character is going to be used for the next one? I don't see how or why with how chosen one status MC has.
Unless we're going to time skip or something. Or maybe explore the prior world.

That's the most erroneous simplification of storytelling that I have ever seen.

Your argument dies the second you consider that it is supposed to happen on a dead end and the proper timeline doesn't have to go through with it, it just has to address it so the detail is preserved.

And even then, rules are meant to be broken (with care), because good writing is writing that works.

and much more, each of those could have a whole arc on its own.

If he's on earth (he is now), Xanthe is still alive (quite likely) and he manages to get to level four on his own, then within days of this evo he can be level five, and most likely will be, both Xanthe and the rest of H.E.R.O heads said his level five would be a huge boon, now probably even more than before.

You can’t reach the peak using the serum. The difference between those who evolved naturally and those who used the serum is huge. So no, the MC is not using a serum.
