How does it go, never say never, after all I dislike Celeste but love that footjob, especially her licking cum off her feet, I will admit, for an Orc she is cute.

but... why would you?
For me, simple, I always thought the tusks whatever on Orcs was dumb, look at our animals, like sabretooth tigers, top teeth not lower, and no offence, but that goblins eyes are old pornstar eyes, like soulless.

Because not all girls appeal to everyone.

Personally my range of what is attractive is far narrower than what is not.

Green, purple, blue, red skin etc falls into the second. Along with big tits and asses and tattoos.

Take Alex Grey at the start of her career, she's was stunning, for me arguably one of the sexist porn stars I'd seen. Now I wouldn't touch her with a 10 foot pole. Dev's that let you pick and choose are the real heros of porn game development.

Just like it's rude to yuck someone else's yum, getting on someone's case (not that this has been done) for NOT liking something is equally rude.
I agree it's good to have content that not everyone might be into be optional. Even though I do like a wide variety of fantasy women types (depending on how they're depicted).

As to tusks - there are definitely animals with them. Boars for example. And a lot of orcs in various mythologies have swine-like features to go with them, so in that context they kind of make sense.

With the goblin render, specifically, I was actually impressed with how curvaceous she was. It's not how I typically picture goblin girls (when thinking of cute or sexy versions anyway), but she's still attractive. Small and curvy isn't something you see a lot, so it's nice to see the representation in my book, even if it clashes with my perception of how a cute goblin girl should look.

I will say, though, that I'm not sure that the article of clothing (a jacket maybe?) that she's wearing in the first image of the 3 is overly flattering for her figure, and it might be worth considering other options.

I am reluctant to play this. I LOVED the original. Then it got remade. Then it got remade again. And even in this iteration, from some of the comments it looks it's been restarted at least once. I hate getting into and attached to characters and then they get abandoned or so changed you barely recognize them anymore.

Also as one minor aside, not into piercings (or foot fetish, orc/goblin sex for that matter) and those seem to be popping up a lot in this iteration. ::sigh::

I am only posting because the original game showed the talent of the author and I want to play and like this.

This hasn't been remade since its first iteration, not sure where youre seeing that. I've done things like remake bad UI elements, but haven't remade a single part of the game.

There's 4 girls with some sort of facial piercings, out of 21 current girls.

And all sexual content aside from the basics is skippable, and there's only 1 optional foot fetish scene currently anyway.

Looks like the update is coming together pretty well, any ETA for it yet?
Exact eta? No sadly, I'm bad at meeting those and I feel giving one just curses me to miss it.
I can say though I have very little actual content left to add, its mostly just tedious/time consuming stuff that I leave for the tail end of the update, animations, my little planned UI changes and such, so its mostly done.

Edit because I feel like I should say something ---

Yeah, I know this update has taken fooooorever. I definitely overreached a bit with how much I'm actually adding to the game. 16 new characters, 21 main story events, (although some are short conversations), new character models, combat mechanics, a ton of locations, new animations... etc etc etc. It was a bit much, and I take responsibility for it. I'm still a learning dev, and hope to improve as I go, I just started full time on development a couple months ago, it before that having just been a hobby while I finished college, so I still have a lot to learn haha.

Since it seems that the 0.2 final release date is still out of sight, can you tell me at what point in the pre-alpha version should I stop, so I can resume the playthrough with the updated/fixed content when the release date will come?

I am a patron, and the 4th Alpha along with all of them had to be restarted due to changes at the start of the game, so pretty sure no matter what you will have to restart saves.

Of course, as long as you have the saves the persistent data will still work so you can skip the old stuff.

... as long as Ren'Py does not consider the lines involved as "new" which will happen with minor changes. Of course there is alsways the option to also skip unread text (at the user's own risk).
