To sell the jar you need to meet with sara in school. Not sure about the poster tho

Look inside the zipped Windows version. (See my screengrab above)

There is no such thing, the game writes to the windows registry. If you want to start at the new content, click load save and use the save and cheat codes on the preloaded save in the game.

in the main venue. at the bottom of your screen is a box called "Judges office" or something similar, just like the box to go to the library in the school
