Thanks to all who explained the game. I wondered if anything ever happened in the class next door, or at school at all. I was afraid I was wasting my time. Love you all for explaining I can ditch this POS.

Jarring? Got an example of this emotionally traumatizing dialog? I'm curious.
I'm not downloading and clicking through this garbage again to find it, but it was at the start of the young redhead's path- need a waterbottle or something to trigger the event during lunch at the school. Nothing emotional about how jarring it is, it's that after hours of benign robotic pleasantries "yes, thank you. What option would you prefer? Could we please meet again at some time?" basically Apple's Alexa style conversations, the youngest character asks to meet alone, goes on a political rant about police, and then offers you baked goods from her mom's shop. It's jarring because it's completely tone-deaf and out of place.

He's a Central American native who joined US armed forces and is now a veteran living in USA. His native language is Spanish.

I guess he thinks up conversations in Spanish, notes them down in English, then uses grammarly (commercial version) to sort out the style and word choices. I can only assume that if he wrote in Spanish and hired an English interpreter, the writing could be better.

Thanks, I appreciate the further clarification.

As a side note, I fully agree that the the conversations sound stilted, robotic and are very transactional. One funny thing is that he used contractions inappropriately at ends of sentences (like: "That's right, it's." instead of "That's right, it is.") and now he avoids them altogether.

But it's the question of the natural flow of language. My native Polish has idiosyncrasies that if translated directly, they would sound odd at best and hilariously inappropriate at worst.

Come to think of it, that conversation is a good example where the same information could be exchanged and it could sound natural:
Author's (original) versionReworked version
e: "Hello, Mr. LastName."
e: "Would you like to try some cookies?"
e: "I made them myself."
e: "We just need a couple of drinks, and we can enjoy them right here!"
e: "Hello, Mr. LastName."
e: "Would you like to try some cookies I made?"
e: "Let's just grab something to drink and we can enjoy them right here!"
mc: "Sure, Emily, I would love to.":mc: "Sure, Emily, I'd love to.":
e: "Great, they are shortbread and chocolate cookies."e: "These are shortbread and those are chocolate."
mc: "Did you make them yourself?"mc: "You said made them yourself?"
e: "Yes, my mom runs a pastry shop; she taught me how to make them."e: "My mom taught me how to make them. She runs a pastry shop"
mc "Alright then."mc: * nods
e: "We can use that desk back there. I will pull another chair."e: "How 'bout that desk in the back? I'll pull up an extra chair."
mc: "Ok."mc: "Sure."
e: "I can also make cakes and more stuff; I help my mom once in a while."e: "I help my mom in the kitchen during busy times. I make a really mean cake."
mc: "Interesting."
mc: "Does your dad work at the pastry shop?"
mc: "Oh, so it's a family business. That's nice."
mc: "You haven't mentioned your dad. Does he work at the shop, too?"
e: "No, he doesn't; he is a police officer."e: "Oh, no no. He's a police officer."
mc: "That is great; I unapologetically support first responders."
mc: "They put themselves in danger so everyone else can be safe."
mc: "Tell him I said thanks for his service and sacrifice."
mc: "That's awesome. I fully support the men in blue."
mc: "Thank him for his service for me."
e: "Yes, I'll tell him; he was also a Marine. But it was like you already knew."e: "Sure, I will. He gets that a lot, he's an ex-Marine."
mc: "I didn't, but that is usually the case. Many prior-service people get into law enforcement."mc: "It sounds like he's a great guy. I guess it was natural for him to get into law enforcement."
e: "That's true."
e: "Did you like the cookies?"
e: "He's great, that's for sure."
e: "Did you like the cookies?"
mc: "Yes, they are really well made!"mc: "They're great"
e: "Thanks."
e: "I can make many types of cookies."
e: "I'm proud to say that I was a girl scout selling actual homemade cookies."
e: "Aw, thanks. It means a lot."
e: "I make other kinds of cookies, too."
e: "When I was a girl scout, I was selling genuine homemade cookies."
mc: "Maybe I should stop by your mom's pastry shop one of these days."mc: "Girl scouts? I had no idea. But I guess you take after your dad, huh?"
mc: "I think I should stop by your mom's shop some day."
e: "Yeah, the shop is downtown; I will get you one of my mom's cards."
e: "The card has the address and contact information."
e: "Just let me know when you are going, so I can be there."
e: "Sure. The shop is downtown. I'll get you mom's card."
e: "It has the address and contact information."
e: "Just let me know when you are going, so I can be there."
mc: "Alright, it sounds like a plan."
mc: "Recess is almost over; we should get ready soon."
mc: "Oh, I don't know. Maybe I'll pay a visit incognito."
mc: "Recess is almost over. We need to clean up."
e: "Yes."
e: "You have some crumbs on your cheek."
e: "Don't you dare."
e: "You have some crumbs on your cheek."
mc: "Oh, here?"mc: "Oh."
* starts rubbing the cheek
mc: "Gone?"
e: "No, there; I got them for you."e: "No, there."
* rubs mc's cheek
e: "Got them."
mc: "Thank you."mc: "Thanks."
e: "No problem."
e: "I will take care of the chairs."
e: "No problem."
* stands up
e: "I'll clean up."
mc: "Alright."mc: * nods
e: "I will get a card today; I will give it to you next time I see you."e: "I have a few of mom's cards in my locker. I'll get one for you later."
e: "Or maybe not. I don't know if I can let you go there alone."
mc: "Ok, Emily."mc: "Thanks."
mc: "We'll see, we'll see."
r: "Sweet girl."r: "She's such a sweetie."
mc: "-Yeah.-"mc: "Oh, hi. Didn't see you there."
mc: "You're right, she's a sweet girl."

That's virtually the same conversation. Same information was exchanged, I threw in a bit of playful banter to anchor the informal mood. But it establishes the same basic facts and sets the same events. It would still need a bit of work, but then I'm not a native English speaker.
I guess it's a limitation of grammarly as a writing tool. It's great for writing an essay, it helps with activating passive language and finding the right vocabulary to make for very articulate writing, but it sucks with basic conversations.
AI is going to be the next big step that will make conversations sound way more natural with very little effort.

Yeah, that sounds much better. Much more natural. Flows smoothly, etc. Thanks.

I've only played with ChatGPT a little, but I agree that it seems very powerful. I wonder if they would have trouble inputting their commands, or if it would allow you to input your text in your native language and output natural speech in a different language. So that way you could give nuanced input commands in Polish or Spanish, but get a natural smooth and friendly conversation out in English.

people who can explain why the scenes in this game are very different from each other ?! I downloaded part 1 from 2 sites original from and with mods for walking with https://f95zone.to/threads/tp-the-class-next-door-walkthrough-cheat-mod-v0-25-1-koga3.71659/ if you download part 1 of the game from 2 sites, you will see that even the samava of the beginning of the game is a certain stage very different so it won’t be explained in words specifically .. but if someone played the original and with mods, then they will understand ochom I said .. typer I’m confused, how tagda the same scenes in the original game that were with mods were open to me, is it possible or is this northerner different playful route line ?!
