When I was a supporter for this game I thought I would have the option to have a harem ending from the way the story was being told. HOWEVER I found out Just last night on the Discord that this was not the case and that would not Evan be an option in the game . Hi not bin reading the chat for a while so i don't know how people reached to the new update but id like to give a mini review on how i felt about the new update now id like to begin by telling the dev YOU ASSHOLE there where i think 3 moments that tugged on my heartstrings but ill get to that in a bit the action shootout was funny fun and a joy to watch i can definitely see why it took so long good job now on to story time with Luna when we where told by the dev that she not raped i thought what could he throw at us darker then that well he didn't just go darker he made me feel dread sick and just depressed ( not a criticisms by the way ) the fact that you introduced new faces and got me to care and like them made it all the more painful when shit got fucked up just to end this without spoilers coz id feel like an ass if someone read this and i ruined the story for them before this update the dev said he feared he'd loose fans over how dark this update was well to that i say im not going anywhere great update i will eagerly and patiently wait for what comes next

I agree that just because this site is mainly dedicated to adult games (and associated themes/media), a place where we share our love for this particular interest, our opinions, ideas, etc, that mainly deal with sex-related topics, it doesn't mean that it should deal with porn only. The adult part means just that: adult-oriented; not suitable for those who are underage. There are plenty of games here with no sexual content whatsoever, therefore they even have their respective tag. I'm a fan of several of them and I believe they belong here as well, as many deal with matters that are only interpreted correctly by the adult mind, which is capable of perceiving them for what they really represent, and can distinguish reality from fiction.

On the other hand, I don't know why the fuck sex is such a taboo of enormous proportions in our society nowadays and shouldn't be mixed into romantic stories, or whatever other serious theme it may be. We are alive thanks to sex, for fuck's sake. We should value it and even worship it and treat it as sacred, like our ancestors did. Thank god for AAA game series like The Witcher and Mass Effect, who realized the importance of sex in our everyday lives and incorporated sexual relations and themes into them, turning them into a much more believable, relatable, and emotional experience.

And now that we have the opposite situation with The DeLuca Family, where we have one game that stands more than the others, for one particular reason: being focused more on its story elements than the sex content, unlike the vast majority of other games/projects here, all hell breaks loose for many players who aren't used to this. I understand both parts, but in my humble opinion, the correct way is to make one single experience where we can have both worlds, and I believe HopesGaming is in the right path by portraying both parts in a balanced manner, and more games should follow this example. I, for one, take more enjoyment in a more complete experience, one where we can get fully immersed in all aspects that it offers, and I believe more people would prefer it this way too.

1- as MC can we stay on a dedicated path of any of the girls?(luna for example) or do we need to finish all the side quests?
2- how do i keep record on relationship points i acquired with each girl?

HopesGaming, you give some of your characters common and forgettable names, like say, Joey, and others you give charismatic, unforgettable and not so common names, like Luna, Gaia, Viola, Cordia, etc. Can you tell us your inspiration for that?

Well, I like Luna for one, being developed but I also like the type of innocence she shows despite being "experienced" in other things. She also almost have that redemption type of feel to her, even though it's technically not.
