Please read your review (2/5) and then this. I am sorry i am just quoting. I got tired of explaining it. Your review:

After playing the game for a few hours I can honestly say that I'm disappointed. The renders are pretty good, but there aren't enough animations during the very slow build up of intimacy. I know the developer wants to build up the relationships and the storyline, but the lack of more intimate events has been lackluster to say the least. Maybe in another 6 months to a year when he finally makes it an "adult" game with more lewd and sex scenes the game might be worth a 4 start rating.

With the lack of intimacy and sex this game doesn't really get a "rise" out of me at all. I thought this game had real potential, but most of it is pretty boring especially with the "contracts". Hitting a button for the different contracts and not seeing any type of actual play seeing the MC doing them is boring. It's almost like playing the old style html games with just dialogue to read. Maybe in another year or two there will be a decent amount of events and sex scenes to make playing this game worthwhile.

And technically oral sex is sexual content, here you have wikipedia explanation

Good day.
When people on here question my integrity and I pretty much get bullied it makes me to not want to visit F95 ever again.

First of all I did play through the entire game. Second of all I did read the tags before I downloaded the game and played it in it's entirety. I gave it my honest review after playing the "whole" game. I was disappointed because the only teasing that I really saw was in the "dream sequences" when the MC goes to bed. With the description from the dev about their being sex or the promise of sex was the disappointing part of the game.

The tags of "oral sex", "teasing" and "romance" to me don't equal sexual content that most of us are used to playing "adult" games. I have played a lot of adult games over the last year and a half and understand what the tags mean. There is no tag that says "sexual content" at all on the first page of the thread for the game. Some may see that tags as sexual content, but to me it's a lot more teasing than anything. The "sex" part is more of an almost "SFW".
That is not quite true, now is it? You clearly stated that you only played a couple of hours and that is far from being able to beat the game. The only way to do that is ctrl skipping it all.
"With the description from the dev about their being sex"
Where did I ever say there was sex in the game? I said, and still say, there will be sexual content in the game. But I am not rushing it and the game is not for the people that only play for the sexual content. How does that qualify as me saying there already is?

"The tags of "oral sex", "teasing" and "romance" to me don't equal sexual content that most of us are used to playing "adult" games."

Eh? You're shooting yourself in the foot with this part... Yes, those are the tags.
There is a lot of teasing going, there is a lot of romance and there is a oral sex scene. The tag is accurate and is not misleading.
". There is no tag that says "sexual content" at all on the first page of the thread for the game. Some may see that tags as sexual content, but to me it's a lot more teasing than anything. The "sex" part is more of an almost "SFW""

If we ignore that oral sex actual is sexual content- then yes, the tags showed you the game wasn't for you and what the game contained. So, why did you play it? What did you expect? That is what people are talking about.

Again, you're shooting yourself in the foot with this part. You're basically confirming the fact that the tags clearly tells you the game does not contain what you want.

I can understand the dev wants to build up the game with relationships and storyline. That's fine, but I have seen a lot of games with the promise of "sexual content" that players lost interest very quickly. Pony Waifu Sim is a perfect example. There is one major h-scene in a game that been out for almost 3 years. Most of the comments pretty much say the same thing about the dev milking the game. I'm not saying that is what's happening with this game.
I don't get this point. I don't want to build up the game with relationships and a storyline. That IS the game... This is a niche game. The story focused game. The sexual part will play a big role but will never overtake the main focus which is the story. Hence people enjoy the game for the story. (The many people you seem to ignore)

I don't know that game you were using as an example, but my game is a niche game where people expect and want the story and characters shenanigans. Go through the comments here. Try to read the positive reviews (which is 90% of the reviews).
Why do you think that is? Why do you think they enjoy the game? Sexual content will appear when I feel like it should appear. No blue balling. No false pretense. No misleading.
Story first. Sexual content once I feel I want it in.

You guys can facepalm me or give a thumbs down all you want. It won't change my opinion on the current state of the game. Everyone can have their own opinion. It's a free country. This is exactly why I don't leave very many reviews on games here on F95. It's the same thing with NTR. Some people hate it and some people like it. If I don't like it than don't call me stupid or idiot if I don't agree with you on a certain game that you like in a review that I leave.

When people on here question my integrity and I pretty much get bullied it makes me to not want to visit F95 ever again.
First of all, no one is bullying you. (And should not bully you)
You are, of course, allowed to your review (I would never say to take it down or change it)... BUT, and this is a big but, other people are allowed their opinions on your review. Especially if the review feels dishonest.

Why are you allowed to your opinion (which is shitting on my game with false pretense) while I am not allowed to my opinion without it being called bullying?

As long as neither of us breaks the rule, it is fine. Your review nor comments should be removed or changed. It may not be a true representation of the game but it is not breaking the rule. But neither are the comments against you.

I erased the comment, as it was only for you. Sorry, I should have sent a message. I tend to forget that is an option here. I never meant to bully anybody. When I want to bully I am anything but subtle, so believe me, you would have known better. But if you felt that way I am sorry, it was not my intention. Just explaining why you were getting facepalm (not me, you did said you read the whole game though).
To be honest, I don't think you were bullying at all, so I don't think an apology was necessary. And like Hopes says in his reply, it really feels like he pressed ctrl for fast skip towards the lewds or oral sex scene.

I agree with JJJ

I would never condone bullying or attacking people. (Unless it's a extreme Filius guy ((Joking!))
BUT like I said.
Why should one part be allowed to share their opinion(s) while the other part is not allowed to share their opinion without it being called bullying?

A review is not some kind of holy entity which is written by God. You can voice your own opinion against peoples opinions (reviews). The reviewer can ignore it if he or she wants to.

As long as people do not break the forum rules then I don't see any problems with it.

What Mr PhoenixRage and others like him want is simply "Plug a Hole" game with harem
like 100+ Games all over this site and Patreon..

Mr Phoneix you are entitled to your opinion and tastes but please if something doesn't appeal
to you it doesn't mean it is not good or even excellent to other people.

The reason majority of us LOVE HopesGaming and PhillyGames is precisely that THEY ARE NOT
hardcore porn games with just some text thrown around to fill gaps between action..

While I believe that this is a subjective experience and that many things that are erotic to some may be lewd or crass for others, I think the difference between what is erotic versus what is pornographic begins with our initial neuro-association with each term.

When most people think of "erotic" it elicits sensuality, essentially being tantalized and teased by whatever the art form is, whether prose (Like The DeLuca Family) , or whatever stimuli is evoking a response or provoking the senses. It is typically suggestive and not overt, leaving much to the participants' imagination, and as such, leading to the continuity of pleasure, lust, and desire.

That is why we LOVE this game. It is actually very simple.

Soooo...

finally through with the DeLuca Family.

And i can only compliment you HopesGaming
Well written, a unique take on the AVN perspective and very diverse and enjoyable characters.

I really like that you don't scuttled away from using hard stuff when telling the tale, the best example by far, Lunas Story, to deepen the darkness of the Mafiaworld.
Luna is well crafted. Comes of at first as a pure nutjob but what lies underneath... loved it. You really managed it for me to bring out a broken Girl, that is a perfect mixture of the little crying girl, from when her childhood ended and the growing young adult trying to find her place in a horrible world.
The very special scene at the End with her nailed it for me. I bet you know which one I mean. In "My Name is Luna".

Besides all Darkness, you didn't forget to sprinkle some humor on the mixture. I love the dryness of the "Uncle". Loved the old man right from the start.
"But then it got to me, I don't know anything about cars so why should I even bother looking."
Wonderful.

As for Gracie... She is interesting too, but sadly pales against Luna. I like the rather straightminded genius approach on her. And the way to get closer to her made me laugh more than once. But still... Lunas Background is a lot more captivating so far.

As Suggestions for improvement I really missed a better hintsystem. It got a bit stressful with the eavesdroprecorders for example, as it states "wait a few days" but not how many. So I started just hitting the hay for a whole week and tried again :HideThePain:

Additionally, the Contractinterface feels a bit clunky. Too many steps to feel comfortable and after a done contract you need to click "back" kind of 4 times. Maybe I missed the oneclick close the contractmenu button somewhere? Overlooked it? If not, I'd love to get one for speeding up earning money etc.

Last but not least: Not a point of improvement, but I need this Room to visit Cordia... She is the one woman in this house that got me right from the very start. That silent attitude, the way she handles situations, everything. I'd love to even get a way to start romancing her, which, imho, is kind of pointed at from you within the game, but we don't get closer to her as she is not reachable behind Uncle gramps.

5/5 for me despite minor annoyances. I really enjoyed your game. Pls keep up the wonderful work!

Thanks for sharing a small but decent update including flashbacks that made me lol! Especially about Wilfred's dedicated babysitting behind this phenomenal mustache hehe. I wonder when he started shaving... right after this happening?

HopesGaming :: great storytelling + proofreading once again. Just tripped over 1 typo on the fly.

I once stumbled across a game, The Pinball Arcade, which promised to recreate pinball machines I knew from my youth on PC, so I was intrigued and started reading up on it on game reviewing sites and their forums. Reviews were generally good, but the forums were more divided, with some players complaining that the ratings were too high for just a pinball game where there's no shooting and teamwork and recognizable characters and stuff. So I guess that's again universal.

You can only judge a game by its merits but also only by what it wants to be. You shouldn't vote down a game tagged "furry" because the furry content makes it bad for you - you're just not the audience. Of course I am biased here because I like development over the simple action of insert rod A into slot B, move back- and forward, release. (Though that can be a good ending for development) Thus I am partial towards this game in terms of gameplay. However, as I just wrote in I think a different thread (maybe this one, forgive me for repeating) it can be a major tease if you're seeing how the game develops since you'll have to wait without being able to advance the storyline (unlike in game, where even the longest wait can be ground out).

But I think it's best to just ignore it, usually nobody's gonna change anybody's mind here. Even if it is such an obvious thing as pointing out the tags associated with a game (or not associated, as the case may be). Yes, people should judge a game by what it promises to be, not by what they think it should be. So you can talk about the story being dull or unbelievable because X (maybe mention that Lucania obviously is in the German speaking Alps region where people don't have Italian names in these numbers ;) ). You can talk about the teasing being too drawn out or not drawn out enough. You shouldn't talk about the lack of rod A in slot B however if the tags don't mention any of it.

However, since I had a relevant experience after negatively reviewing a different game, if anybody was harrassing Phoenix or one of the other reviewers by PM, calling them names or similar, that'd be despicable.
