Having played since the start, feel sad for having to drop the game. There are only 2 rules i have in games.
1. No NTR 2. No Choosing between characters.
I would have been fine if they didnt make it so we could get close to all characters, but the fact that we did, then had to choose AND hurt their feelings? Im not here to feel bad...

even though you reject the girls they will still be in your life as your friend

but understandably even if the girls don't want to be your friend after you reject them Nothing is stopping

them from moving on and finding someone else


it's not like if you reject the girl

the girl you rejected

will be taken out back and shot like Old Yeller



unlike other games, the girls in this game don't just exist for the MC

That's right, it's your story and there's no way all fans are going to be pleased by your decisions. You could have postponed the choice for other episode and they would still have complained because "they love all the girls, they don't wanna feel bad", maybe it would have been worse because the attachment with them would have been bigger.

I think that, despite the setting (dude moves into a house with 3 unrelated women who quickly become emotionally attached to him and even somewhat reliant on him for their happiness) that the game doesn't present itself as a harem game since the relationships are somewhat grounded still, and the coming choices were obvious.

However, I am not sure I agree with the sentiment that the girls aren't "just there for the MC" because their stories are entirely dependent on him. Alexa NEEDED the MC to help her mature and gain confidence, Val NEEDED the MC to work through her depression issues, and Laura NEEDED the MC to help her move on with her life. Lucy is slightly less wrapped up, even though shes the long time bestie and a co-owner of the bar.

I'm sure part of it is just because we're in that awkward part of the story where the dominos are starting to fall, but I hope that "getting close to one LI at the expense of others" isn't literal, in that going on one LI path means that the others are left twisting. I know it's a cardinal sin among some to even suggest that a potential LI could find happiness elsewhere (even if they weren't chosen) but all of the women deserve some sort of happiness. If we're going down hard paths, then I hope there are "friend paths" for the others going forward (not that there can't be drama along the way of course) otherwise the choices are going to feel bitter.

Laura is older and carries a ton of emotional baggage that she's always going to carry with her, to some extent, forever, while Alexa is an 18 yr old who still acts like a 15 yr old, and it's not a good match to put her with a twenty-something business owner. So i picked Laura in that choice, just so she wouldn't cry (i'm not heartless) and Alexa telling me later that we were just going to remain friends had me thinking "ok.... good.... i guess?" Since i had no interest in her in any other respect anyway.

Valentine is the clear winner here, my only concern is the lingering presence of her asshole ex. But seriously dude, you cheat mega on your gf and post her near nudes all over the internet and you expect to kiss and make up? huh.

Incidentally, Happiness Inn is a stupid name for a bar. I mean, an Inn, by definition, provides lodging, as well as the social setting.

I love this game more and more each update. Another excellent chapter!! I was a bit skeptical at first as it started off like every other porn game,the MC moving in with a couple of hot chicks but it took a good turn. It's heavily story focused(always a big plus) and the choices has an impact on the game instead of the usual choices in these games that really means bugger all.

I never was a fan of harem games, because the approach and overall execution is usually too unrealistic and more often porn focused so I don't mind that this early on in the game there's already choices that can break and make your relationship with the Lis. Like the Alexa/Laura choice in ch 3 for example, though I do think Alexa's reaction was unnecessary, she could've at least hear the MC out

Another thing I love about this game is the fact that the characters have their own lives and their own emotions which aren't based around the MC like most AVNs.
Even minor characters are portrayed well. Like Laura's ex husband(R.I.P) and Val's ex, who I'm guessing bit the bullet towards the end of Ch3, but it's great that his character got redeemed before that. He fixed things with Val and genuinely wanted to change. which is something you honestly didn't have to do but it's great that you did.

Anyways I'm Seriously looking forward to the next chapters to come and I hope you continue with the great work you've been doing thus far MrMaya.
