dont know if anyone have commented this but in this last version there is some weird problem when SAVING the game.. if you click on an Empty save spot it works but you get instantly cast out into the game screen again.. BUT when you are trying to overwrite a save all it does is close down the screen again and put you in the game again without saving the game...

That might be intentional, since there is an x to delete a save, which then would allow you to use the spot.

The saving issues have been fixed and will perform normally in the next release.

I think it was, perhaps, logic 101 you missed. Maybe it was an 8:00 class?

A new game may, in fact, have new characters that were not in the previous game. Looking at the preview images should have revealed that much to you.

The Fosters had nine different endings, but only one of them is the canon ending, which is described at the start of Back 2 School.

Here is my save from the end of the update. Rollback to the sex part and you will see. Also, in my game/save folder my old saves (from Oct) aren't showing, but they are in the game.
