The story is guiding me, not the other way around. If the story demands it, I might not be able to deny it, to my own dismay.
There will be different paths depending on the choices you make, including a harem path. There will be three or four final endings. There are currently four end splash screens, depending on the choices you made, though I think one of them might not be possible for chapter 1 (the "true neutral" ending).
These are two contradictory statements....
Either the story is guiding you and you can't know your ends
Or you have your ends and the previous comment was false?

Also as the dev, how can you not know how many end you have or when they're available...?

Dude, I'm all for you doing the story you want to do, but just be straight about it. This game looks like it has great potential, but right now I have zero faith or trust in you based on your comments, so it will be one that I'd have to wait till it's done and see where you finally come down on things before touching it.

Edit: Fixed a typo

Is this going to be NTR where big john starts doing the girls behind the MC's back and we see changes over time?

They aren't contradictory. Because there are different paths, there will be different endings. I know where I expect the different paths to lead, but that doesn't mean I have the endings written out. This isn't Harry Potter; I'm not writing the story to get to my ending.

While some writers plan out everything that's going to happen before writing the story and stick to their outline, no matter what, I can't do that. For example: I was just writing a day 2 scene with Julia. In my outline I had certain things happening, but as I wrote it, they didn't fit, so those things are being pushed to a later chapter. Maybe those things will never fit the story. I'll have to wait and see.

Many writers let the stories guide them as they're being written. Stephen King has written about this many times, that his stories surprised him when they went in directions he didn't see coming. That's what I'm doing. Are there things I know will never happen in this story? Sure. Aliens aren't going to show up and capture everyone. Maria isn't going to snap and murder everyone in their sleep... I don't think. But, if there is a possibility of something happening in the future, I'm not going to say no.

Here's what I'll say as an absolute: Big John will not romance nor convince all of the girls to be his. Or any of the girls. This is not his story. None of the girls like him or want him there, including Linda. For Linda, he's a means to an end, which began as an escape but evolved into self punishment. If you're playing this game to see Big John have his way with everyone, don't bother. Will Big John get any unavoidable action? Nope. Will he get any action? Maybe... I'll have to see how things go.

Edit: I should add that I won't be making changes to the story based on public opinion, unless I specifically make a poll about it. That would be more for interactions between the MC and others, and not to add NTR content.

Ok, now that makes a little more sense. I don't like but, I can respect it. Good luck with it.

As for this, I guess I'll wait till that is eventually resolved before trying.

So...still no straight yes/no answer on the NTR.

So IF there is NTR, it will be avoidable (not just skippable, avoidable, as in "there is a way to make it not happen at al") Am i understanding correctly?

It is still suspicious to me that you cant give a straight answer to this, it isnt a small issue. And we are not asking you to change your story based on public opinion, we are asking you to tell us if a particularly hated kink is going to be present so we dont waste hours in a game to then find that suddenly it shows up. This whole "i dont know" situation smells really bad.

Dont change your story, but let us decide if we want to play your story based on what kinks it will have

Good start! I see potential in this game. I like that you are taking an organic path in development, but I hope that doesn't get too overwhelming. I'm pretty sure Winds of Winter isn't here because Martin doesn't know how to bring his over-grown story back into a form that can be concluded.

I like that this story is dark and is fucked-up. This is fantasy and not all fantasy should be the same, so different is good. That being said, I would re-write chapter 1 and push back some of the revelations, or at least keep the readers guessing on some of them. They would be way more powerful if MC didn't find out about it so quickly. Especially anything with Maria. Her issues shouldn't be resolved so quickly. Having some antagonism can actually be a really good thing. I mean, why even set it up at all if you're going to make everything okay five minutes later? (On a side note, MC has got to start acting like he's watched in the girls rooms or else this game will end with MC in a ditch).

I also think the relationship with Sam needs more background. MC being clueless that his sister is into him when he has been living there the whole time doesn't make much sense, it would be better (IMO) if the MC already had a very close relationship with her and wasn't so surprised by her affections. I mean with all the sexual tension going around the house, having them already have crossed a few lines of "normal behavior" might even be warranted.

Final thought: Lucy's face needs to be adjusted. I like her personality and character, but her smile will haunt my dreams. o_O

Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

Take my suggestions or leave them, after all I'm not writing a VN so what the fuck do I know?

I've seen your comments in other posts 13, so I'll give this a go later. I'll download not sure when I'll get a chance to get to it though. Best of luck! I'll comment again later one I can get time to try it.

This is only the start of a resolution with Maria. She wants to trust the MC again, but can he earn that trust? What choices is he making and how does she view those choices? Will things get better with her, or worse? Choices matter.

You'll start to see in chapter 2 that she's been hiding her feelings from the MC, but not to someone else. Someone who is encouraging her to be more open.

Final thought: Lucy's face needs to be adjusted. I like her personality and character, but her smile will haunt my dreams. o_O
Unfortunately, I'm also not happy with some of the images. I'm still learning Daz and will hopefully improve as I go along. Sometimes, though, she's just being silly and likes to make weird faces.

You can all see that NTR is not listed in the planned tags. I will say that chapter 2 can start with an NTR-ish scene, depending on what you did in chapter 1. NTR isn't my thing, so I doubt this game will have actual NTR content. I'm not going to say absolutely, because one scenario I have thought about for the late game is much closer to NTR than the scene in chapter 2.

The story is guiding me, not the other way around. If the story demands it, I might not be able to deny it, to my own dismay.
that's not reassuring of your creative quality.... even pantsers (writer that don't outline their novel) don't go free falling into the story....

How can NTR be avoidable if it is central to the plot? That's like wanting a Marvel movie and hoping the superhero content is avoidable.
Well, first, there are non-sexual things that people need to be protected from. There are even non-NTR sexual things that people need to be protected from. But even if there was NTR in the game, that doesn't mean it has to be unavoidable.
