I like NLT games, but always avoid them for a good year or 2 due to always having to wait for the good content. So I guess my question here is is there enough content to make this game worth downloading, or is it still lacking a lot of content?

v0.43 All Secrets Walkthrough
About: Thank you for checking out my guide. This guide will cover each update spanning from v0.43 to v1.0 of the game. Updates v0.43 to v0.49 of this guide do not cover the Story because the Oracle does an excellent job of guiding the player through the game. Starting with update v0.51, I decided to include a Story section because unintuitive segments started to occur more frequently. I will always include a separate section for Tools, Dumbbells, Old Books, Profile, Chest Keys, Chests and Key Items when available.
As of v1.0, you should be able to get all 5 Kamasutra pages for all of the characters. If you are missing Chest Keys or Kamasutra pages from versions v0.42 or earlier, I would highly recommend you check out

Infact in this game in particular a modder that want to introduce the incest element should pay attention and rewriting long parts of the dialogues, not only changing some variables for the relations or else the story would loose sense.
That's why they stopped it, because they understood that in order to write a working patch, they need to wait until the game will end in order to avoid surprises, add the fact that NLT made efforts in order to make it more difficult and here you have the reason why the patch is on hold.
And yes, many peoples who write patches don't look at the whole story before making these Ipatches, and that's why I don't use them unless I know that the story is focused on that theme, having a mom or a sis just for the sake of that particular kink is not interesting if the story as a whole would be ruined by it, imho.

Tasha must be doing a roaring trade selling (Lovense) sex toys to the North Santivanians. If you understand the NLT release schedule, you will know that there are two releases each month. They are on the 2nd. and the 15th. The version number tells you the month and release number. xx09 1means month 09, and release 1. So the next release would be xx09 2. You answered your own question. Here is a guide to help you understand the version numbering system.
HOW TO DECODE THE VERSION NUMBER
The version number is composed of three groups of digits.
Example: 43 09 2
43 = Percentage completion of the update version.
09 = Month of release. (September)
2 = Second release of the month.
