I'm happy to offer suggestions. I'm not going to pretend I'm anything like an expert with Ren'Py or Python. I wonder if there is some ordering issue here. Although you define the Character maya with the variable maya1 as its name, if that variable doesn't exist before your define statement, maybe it uses a null value, so no name appears.

Have you already previously given a value to maya1 before the player (potentially) modifies it? If not, I wonder if having maya1 assigned a default value before you define maya would get around this. Of course, I'm certain there's probably a more elegant solution to this issue. If you have not already, I would post in the coding help forum to see what brilliant Ren'Py / Python developers can provide to help you out.

the big problem is the protagonist either barging into her room and or leaving without trying hard, the two choices aren't logical at all, you either leave or be a perv, that's no way to handle player agency. if she's going to be an important character, let the protagonist deal with her in a way that doesn't compromise lewds and logical action because that's going to make players have a harder time to trying to suspend their disbelief and tolerate a main character that's illogical. that's my take on it at least, I like this game but the protagonist handling chloe's rent could've been done better.

Yeah I had a bit of a problem with this scene as well. Maybe for similar reasons, but seeing how dense at times the MC is around Ashley and Lily, completely oblivious to their feelings of attraction, he for the most part goes out of his way to project not being a perv or creepy guy. Yet this is the second time we see him behave in a way that he ordinarily would otherwise feel is repugnant or offensive since that's not who he really is.

I didn't mind it as much with the milf next door since she has a bad marriage with an abusive, emotionally unavailable husband and we find out she has a bit of a crush on the MC, but Chloe had neither. Despite acting very much like an ungrateful bitch, I didn't like our only 2 options were to leave or pull down our pants and expose ourselves to her masturbating. I get how tricky of a situation it can be navigating through this scene and still end up on her path and with a sexy lewd scene as well, but I definitely laughed at how cringey it was handled.

I understand people's frustration behind the scene with Chloe. At first, I was a little adamant about keeping Chloe in the building because of the future plot I imagined that's why I gave only two options which keep Chloe in the building but after talking with wWb our proofreader, I have decided to change the scene a little bit where players can actually reject Chloe and I changed the end of the previous scene to fit more to the personality of Mc which will give a new movement to future scenes with Chloe. I hope you guys will like it more this time.

Fair enough, without seeing the different version, I just think its more in line with the MC's personality to still be attracted to Chloe and surprised at watching her 'perform' for her streamers without needless having him whip out his dick. He could have been instead frozen in place, watching her, aroused but not wanting to scare her. She then finishes, notices he's there and tries to attack him thinking he's going to assault her. In the process, she slip/trips and still ends up on top of him... awkward position still achieved with her naked on top of him without making him look worse... just saying.

Of course, the slips/trips-and-falls-on-someone sequence like that is a way overused trope. Even if nothing lewd happens, that whole schtick has been overdone. Still, this is porn, so....

Hmm,soon to be 2 months since beta version was released. Almost time for new update. Do we gonna get full version of chapter 3 at all or straight to chapter 4 update?
