Huh this has got me stumped because as I said Kaija is the only one I'm pursuing so I'm doing all of her events which means I didn't go on a date with Fiona and I didn't cheat during training so I'm not quite sure where I could have went wrong.
No matter if I went directly to training, Kaija always says I'm late.
Didn't happen to me or my testers but after checking the code there IS a chance that this can happen.
Just did the friendly date with Fiona and then straight to Kaija and she says I'm on time so it does work

Silly me, I should have understood that it was due to having a mod loaded. It tried to add the possibility of choosing multiple menuitems (like "Train with Kaija" and "Go to the bar"), and did it in such a way that we always go to the "late" branch.
I also hate those type of VN games where MC meets a girl and after 3 seconds they are already banging. I enjoy games that are rich in storytelling, have well-developed characters, and feature more realistic relationships. I have played a lot of RPG games, so perhaps that's why I prefer these kind of games more.

Haha, yeah it's almost refreshing not to have every possible LI being so into the MC that they'll accept/tolerate each other too. I mean, even for a fantasy game, that sort of bends reality a bit much.harem. But I forgot to mention it is not a harem at all, which is a plus.
