I just played through that first update already, there's literally about 10 minutes of gameplay. The daughter's face looks kinda weird but other than that the models and renders look great and the singular animation in the game is actually really well done.

The wife's name isn't the only broken thing, there's also dev's english. It feels like some of the things he wants to convey get lost in translation and the writing feels very stiff (also MC's wife's name is mispelled, it's probably supposed to be Brooke).

All in all it would have been a pretty decent first release if it wasn't so short
