Both tags are there to inform people that they'll be engaging with the concepts, even if not intended sexually. As for the rest, Alex is clearly coded as at least bisexual. There will be explicitly gay content as an option going forward.

Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. Originally, the script had him gagged instead of taped, and so when removing the gag he coughed, I just forgot to get rid of it when it changed. I think the new patched version might not have Alex's cough.
Right, I get that. It's that Alexis coughs (for no obvious reason) and then, a few seconds later, Alexander does, which I thought was supposed to be some sort of connected-mind twin thing that would show up again later...perhaps in a less twisted context.

Dude/ette, calm please. If you had read the thread instead of just responding, you'd know that there is planned Gay content, the game is not tagged that way just for the opening scene. The DEV always planned to write this with the Male MC being Bi
Yeah, I'm pansexual, the game is only just starting, maybe tone down your shit and ask a few questions before making accusations about my, my beliefs, or my game. Alex is going to have opportunities for a positive homosexual relationship later in the game. The gay tag was used because regardless of the beliefs of people like myself and I assume, based on your rant, you, the rape scene warrants it.
I'm fucking annoyed at this persecution complex. In a science class where there will be dissections, they inform you ahead of time and provide alternative lessons for those who won't, for whatever reason, be willing or able to participate. The tags on this game serve the same purpose. Yes, the gay tag is there because of the rape scene. No, I don't consider it gay fetish content, but it is a man placing his penis in the mouth of another man, that means I, fulfilling my obligation to be honest about the game's content, have to state that this game has gay content.

Ah, I see what you were going for. To be honest, the reason I didn't connect the two is that (to me) it never looked like he was choking her, just reminding her that he could. But at one point it looks like his knuckles are just sort of sitting there at the base of her neck, and a little later he's got a thumb and a finger resting against two of the usual pressure points, but they really do just look like they're just resting there instead of threatening her larynx or her carotid artery. Nor did her facial expressions really give it away to me either, though that might be because she was upside down. She actually looked to be experiencing more stress as he was pulling her head back in the previous scene. In any case — and this is getting deep into the nitpicking, I admit — even if his fingers were digging in, that's the sort of choking no one should be trying in the first place. Not that it'll stop anyone, of course.
