riverrungames : We can have a civil discussion about it, no problem. I don't mean removing most loops, I just mean too many looping animations don't bring much to the table and after a certain number are done, you actually loose time you could use to pose other static images, sex-related or not.
To go in your direction, I would agree that it would be equally stupid to remove loop sex animations to make more reverse angles of characters standing up talking to each other. But that's a balance only the dev team can find.
Also, I think you may underestimate the time it takes to render animations. Of course it depends on the hardware the graphic artist can use, if he has only one PC or can continue working on posing while rendering is done on another computer or not, for example.
My main point is that I didn't want this game to fall victim to people requesting more and more animations, because after a certain point, it will indeed slow down the progression of the story, and/or limit the number of static images and angles on sex scenes.
that's why I prefer non-looping animation, with some camera movement for example, because if used well, it can create a nice "directing" effect for a particular moment (in a sex scene or not), and also remove the need to create static images in different angles (since you'll see a change of angle during the camera movement).
For the moment, this game doesn't have this issue, just wanted to prevent it for the future. I don't want to see 20 sex loops and because of those not see a bigger variety of sex scenes or plot moving slower than in previous updates, that's it.
