Can you send your save file from where you are having the stuck in elevator problem , and tell me the steps you take after beach until that place, so i can try to reproduce it, because it happens so rarely and i tried maany times, i can't reproduce the problem.

I have this same problem.

Help me dev team, it's been a few days since only boring games I don't care about were uploaded on F95, you're my only hope.

Seriously, take your time and make a great update as usual, but God am I currently so bored with the other games... :eek:

One thing I'd like tho, is for Motkeys not to concentrate on animations : it takes too much time for the result. Not criticizing the animations of this particular game, as it's the same in most VNs : nobody has a AAA game team of 800 people, so we can only have 2-3sec loops of a penis going back & forth in some hole, so it's generally not needed and instead we could have had 15 still images, all very different and interesting.

So 3-4 short loops to please people who need that for some reason, why not. But 10+ please no. I'd rather have 3-4 anims that are relevant to important story points, like someone discovering something, or some reaction shots of a face than "look we made 60 still images of this sex scene but so you understand MC is actually moving his penis into this female character, we will show it to you by creating 5 useless animations in a scene you saw enough still images of to create it yourself in your mind".

I'm always so disapointed when I see the changelog of some game and see :
-Added 14 animations
-Added 230 pictures
Fuck me you could have added 1200 pics if you didn't do these stupid loops !

When I want animations I go check some SFM/Blender animators, and they have time to concentrate on that and sometimes do 10-20mn of it and make it interesting.
But VN games dev teams don't have the manpower for this, so if you must make animations, please don't animate pointless loops, do fewer, but longer/more relevant to the plot animations.

I really don't mean to be rude, but this post is absurd. Having more static images over animations would actually slow down the production and development of the game rather than speeding it up as you claim. Players want animations - and why wouldn't they? - and in terms of the cost-benefit analysis, the developer wants animations (a series of static images arranged in a sequence to simulate movement), because it's far less work for the development team to produce thirty images in a sequence as compared to three hundred static images, some of which will be scenes depicting sex.

In that calculus, having more sex animations beats having more static images. Your hypothetical Panglossian scenario where the development time can be used to produce something better is simply not the case, because if it were true, surely Motkeyz would have done it by now, unless him and the staff really enjoy wasting their time on something you claim is uninteresting or unneeded.

Also your logic is seriously flawed. The possible animations about the story would mutatis mutandis be short loops as well. Why would I want that over what is practical, presently the animated sex scenes? It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, especially in a game like Timestamps, where the sex scenes are instrumental to the story in regards to character development and plot progression. The animations have only improved over time as well, the work done here is more extensive, varied, better conceptualized and imagined when compared to the first game. Implied sex scenes have their place, too, but to take animations away and say implied sex should be the de facto standard is just ridiculous.

Comparing this work to the work of Blender/SFM animators is comparing apples and oranges because the whole job of the animator is centered around animation, and in adult visual novels, animations are used alongside static images as a tool, a stimulant for the pornographic imagination and to help enhance the storytelling experience.

And what about that delicious perversion that is Gaz, literally out of the radar? While July is all over the place, constantly, so much so I started to skip all the scenes with her for how common and boring she's become. There are loads of good girls in there and it's all july here july there, what a shame. Wasted effort.

riverrungames : We can have a civil discussion about it, no problem. I don't mean removing most loops, I just mean too many looping animations don't bring much to the table and after a certain number are done, you actually loose time you could use to pose other static images, sex-related or not.
To go in your direction, I would agree that it would be equally stupid to remove loop sex animations to make more reverse angles of characters standing up talking to each other. But that's a balance only the dev team can find.

Also, I think you may underestimate the time it takes to render animations. Of course it depends on the hardware the graphic artist can use, if he has only one PC or can continue working on posing while rendering is done on another computer or not, for example.

My main point is that I didn't want this game to fall victim to people requesting more and more animations, because after a certain point, it will indeed slow down the progression of the story, and/or limit the number of static images and angles on sex scenes.
that's why I prefer non-looping animation, with some camera movement for example, because if used well, it can create a nice "directing" effect for a particular moment (in a sex scene or not), and also remove the need to create static images in different angles (since you'll see a change of angle during the camera movement).

For the moment, this game doesn't have this issue, just wanted to prevent it for the future. I don't want to see 20 sex loops and because of those not see a bigger variety of sex scenes or plot moving slower than in previous updates, that's it.

Are the cg folders needed for LL? I thought it was only needed for the prequel and that all the effects were a part of the present version.

If they do improve the game, do I need all 4 cg files for LL?

it is bad that there is no galery to reply real animated scenes. Instead u need to open smartphone then find chapter and then guess which scenes are animated..not convenient to use

Because I assumed writing was done before art, and then writing team comes back at the end to fix & add needed stuff. So please explain, I love to learn stuff for when I'll make my own game in 2047.

Because I assumed writing was done before art, and then writing team comes back at the end to fix & add needed stuff. So please explain, I love to learn stuff for when I'll make my own game in 2047.
I may work in a different way than some other dev, We establish the big directive line of the release, the overall scene we want to add to make the story progress but i never work with script. I do the art as i am inspired, and the writing is done afterward. Then modification can be made while we test the game to adjust stuff out. I can sometimes create some additonal images to fit the scene. Like this i keep posibility open for new ideas and late additions. It's most of the time where good scene happens for me.

Thanks, I thought it was something like this. On an unrelated note, if you're looking for scene ideas, I'd really love to see a MC+Mom+Bacon scene. And I'd really like to see a continuation of the photo shoot scene in the basement where you had these 3 characters and nothing happened. I mean maybe something happened story-wise, I don't remember, it was a long time ago, but no sex scene followed and it was sad.
