No, i compressed it, it wont even show up as an option if u dont compress it back up/ but when i re-compress it the unrated flag is whited out and twice the size

Not sure about Dev C++, but the game needs the webp code which comes with Visual C++ 2015.
Strangely, it also requires that you need to install VC++ 2015 before you install a newer version of it.

If you can't see the flag or the flag is white out then you forgot to include the flag file to your re-compressed file.

when i recompress it, it changes the Unrated file size from 425k to 443k and I get eh intro1-2-3... blahblahblah shit

Each language.zip file requires 2 folders and 1 flag file.
- dialogues,
- mappingtables,
- flag.png
Don't change the names of the folders and use .zip only -> no .rar or .7z etc.

Show us a screenshot of your edit language folder + structure of the folder.
My standard extraction tool is based on 7zip as well.

when unpacking the archive - they get files in the folder,
and after editing for some reason they archive the folder with the files, and not the files themselves.

Ok, let's just go back for a second.
- You extracted the game into your preferred game folder. Correct?
- You downloaded the unrated patch and put the zip file into Game_Data/Language folder.
- You start the game and on the main menu you should have to flags on the right side.
- You start a new game and you get a white screen with "blablabla". Correct?
