It looks like your save edit is the reason that you cannot find a Jade Talisman. Use the search at the top of the page and read all of the posts that like you cannot find Talismans.

Are the broken keys supposed to be invisible? Like, no indication of them whatsoever? Am I missing some tells on where to find them or is the game genuinely expecting you to click every tile in the hopes of finding them?

No they are all quite visible. The storyline takes you to all four. While there are no neon signs around them, they should still be quite obvious.

How are they visible? As far as I know the game doesn't even tell you to be on the look-out for invisible broken keys?
I found three so far and I've reloaded an older save to see if there are any tells but I don't see any. They're non-descript tiles.

Maybe on yours Maybe compressed version cannot see anything - had to follow walkthrough to find 3 shown pictorially - cant see one a sqalmart- please help
