On the other hand, story-wise there's only one update left, and that's coming tomorrow. After that it's time for a new game in the series and a new thread. If the mods want to avoid discussions about the rules not applying equal to all users, then that is the simple way out. Hopefully everybody will show up in the new thread with a lesson or two learned.Give them a final chance, I say, to redeem themselves for they will be missed!

Don't believe it. There will always be somebody who cannot listen to good advice or someone who wants to argue just for the sake of it.
But as for those few who are blocked. I look forward to some deep discussions on the new game when it comes out.

Of course there will, but the way I suggested will at least remove unfairness from the equation, and nobody can really claim they haven't gotten a second chance in a new thread. If they get banned from that thread as well, then they have nobody else to blame.

I started with this with no issues and I still haven't played the prequel. If there were references to the prequel, I really didn't notice them.
Playing the prequel gives you a bit more context as to what is happening on the island and who some of the characters are, but it's really not necessary.
Hoooooh boi. I remember Lust Epidemic as one of my favourite games to date. To see that the sequel is almost completed makes me really happy. I deliberately put off playing this until it's completed, and judging by the news, it's going to be completed tomorrow. POGGERS

LE give you some story backgrounds, about love poiton, whole Maddlyns and her brother relationship. Also there is some referecnes about sister Judy (character from next game). And much of the newspaper refers to what is happening in LE.
But the prequel has little effect on the ToN story itself.

The final story chapter is almost here! It was a big undertaking to finish it in time, but this new chapter contains 145 new animation files! This includes a massive sex scene, a bonus profile, a new KS page and a story scene and one hell of an ending!
Coming later in the month, on August 15th will be the first extended content for Treasure of Nadia which will feature two new KS pages and a fun secret side quest that ends in a new scene for... you'll have to wait and see.
This 2nd half of the year is going to be focused heavily on finishing development of The Genesis Order assets and game engine, while aiming for a 4th quarter launch. As new assets and artwork are created, I will be sharing them in weekly reports and on Discord.

It's the first of the month, so I'm guessing it's just patreon processing/billing stuff. Don't think people are upset at all from what I've seen.

Apart from Jessica getting porked, maybe solo, my bet is on a Madalyn inspired fuck fest involving all of the women. A fittingly ridiculous ending for a once great game that jumped the shark about half way through. Fingers crossed that TGO will have a truly engaging story at least equal to its art and not descend to the level of three sex scenes an update with a story too thin to explain or justify them. The art in ToN was never less than excellent but the story, dialogue, interpersonal relationships and interactions between the characters poorly developed and far too often shit. Lust Epidemic had a better story than Treasure of Nadia and Treasure of Nadia better art than Lust Epidemic. Neither were perfect games. If The Genesis Order beats LU and ToN on both counts it will set the bar to a previously unprecedented level as far as quality is concerned, although I won't be holding my breath for such a happy outcome based on the downward trajectory of ToN from its midpoint on.

I have just searched for 2 hours on every thread could find on how to make or get nitroglycerin for the left blocked area in the temple and I am coming up empty.

If it's the second area to bomb open. You get it from helping Alfred (he is on the floor in the pub, take him to the doctor and make some nitro)use the nitro with one of the chest in top right of temple to convert it to a bomb.
