Well, that is completely up to you. But I recommend focusing a bit more on the horde game part, since if you focus and make that the "main point" of the game, then you could start selling it on steam. People has been depressed over necromancy was "cancelled"Now I'm worried that people seem to like this horde game part a bit too much, and here I am coding the dating sim mechanic which is gonna be 70-80% of the product.
So if you want to make a "censored" version, (Aka holding hands and just kissing, while trying to teach her the "feelings of a human") it would be a great concept and side objective. While the main objective is to become the undead king.
You could make "siege" (Aka a map/level design) where the player is forced to go from start to goal, to advance the story. Like attacking a castle or simply running through a village. (Check warcube on steam as an example)
But of course, these are just suggestions. I simply trying to give you an economic standpoint (perspective) where you could start selling this game for both teenagers (Who like romance VN) and horny bastards (Like me!) jokes aside, I fully recommend of course doing it your way. But as some say, if you make a game, and the players found a mechanic so fun and memorable. Then why not make the game around that mechanic?
Goodluck now, and I be back with my team in the next update.
PS: Also don't get me wrong, the romance mechanic is fantastic. Don't stop with that. Tho idk how the story will go, but I hope it be something like teaching her what "humans feelings are"
