the "trainer" tag is usually a instant ignore for me but seeing that there is a trainer tag but no sandbox makes me curious, how heavy is the stat management on this game?

I haven't touched this in a while, is the ex still forced onto the mc and does the dev still think she can be redeemed?

I'm incredibly proud of the work Sam and I have put into this update. It nearly killed us, and Sam is still a bit dizzy, but I have no regrets about this update. Hope people like it, even if this update has some pretty heavy moments. Nothing horrific, but stuff that may relate to many people.
This game will always try to present every day horrors rather than movie tropes. Of course, there are bad and horrible things in life, but we want to tell the everyday "demons" we face, like regret, anxiety and a need and unfortunately lack of validation.

Would also like to say I'm not a big fan of the band Nickleback, however listening to the song "Someday" while playing this game kinda made me get even more into it.
Well, there is no forced romance and there won't be, the closest to that is Lisa, but she's the main love interest. Characters are ones in the game, they are important to the whole story including Rachel. But if you're talking about getting into a relationship or sex, that won't happen if you don't want it to. There are mixed feelings in the MC, but any actual action will be up to the player.
As of now, we don't have proper path, but starting with 0.5, we adding true paths. This update was more about revealing deeper parts of the characters including Rachel.
I recommend you play it, and then you can properly understand what we're doing with this VN

I'm also glad you came into the game in 0.4. This is the best game state so far. We added music and sound effects. It can be better, but we feel we did a great job in that department. Hopefully the music only enhances the experience.

Funny, SweetyChily and I just had this conversation yesterday. We actually didn't know how to make an Android version, so we didn't consider it, but we're definitely thinking of releasing one once we have some time.

so maybe, I can give her another chance if she just lied about the cheating thing, or the mc thought wrong?... I hope this is the case, and it's a deeper meaning, and a misunderstanding to this whole thing, and not just a guilt trip in general to soften the blow when it comes to Rachel and the whole cheating thing.
Would be for the better imo if that was the case, than her being a waste of a LI branded as a cheater that people would just avoid her because of that.

I agree to an extent, I just like how the build up is going to be honest, hopefully the no sex thing will come to an end in the few updates or even the next update, as I'm really attached to Rachel for specific reasons. The rework began with 0.3 and with the addition of music and sound effects, we like to think that it's now a different game to what it was initially designed to be. We've increased the scope. I hope you're along for the ride.
As for the sound effects, we can always improve how we implement sound, especially the laughs and sighs and stuff. But personally, we added it because people laugh in real life. I think if consume content at all, we're laughing at least half the day XD. I thought adding "Haha, that was funny" could feel a bit more tactile and effect if there is some sound to it.
That said, thanks for the feedback, we'll try to see if there is something we can do to improve it. The biggest improvement I see is adding more variety. But feel free to give advice
