I'm honestly torn a little between setting up a screen that tells people to save at the point before they make a decision and explain that people are simply making a decision about who they want to end the night with and not saying anything.

On one hand I want to make it easy for players to end the night with the girl they'd like, but on the other I don't want to ruin the immersion.

Hows about if I'd like a bit of day time nookie?

The game doesn't need that feature, because Ren'py allows the player to save in every moment. I suggest to add the disclaimer "End of the update, not of the game dumbass!" in the panels which says "Shannon ending", "Angel ending"…
Maybe the word "dumbass" is avoidable.

"Spend time with [girls name]" is the answer to all the problems. Then people won't think it's the end of the game OR the lock in choice for the girl moving forward.

CarbonBlue, I really would suggest to you to make Sean more talklative, because in this way seems the player have to fill mentally some gap in the dialogues, creating his own Sian's lines and this harms the immersion in the game. For example let's take the scene in which Sean and the girls are going to go to shopping. It wold be enough to add a line in which Sean says something like, "Girls, I'm ready! Where is Shannon?", to crate the feeling that Sean is an actual human being and not some sort of inanimated presence. Of course there are some scenes in which he must not talk, like when the girls ask something to Sean and he prefer drink some milk than answer; that silence is worth more than a thousand of words!

There's a reason he's not talkative - though he was much more talkative this last episode. That reason will be explained.
Please don't overdo it. I much prefer the MC in this game than MC in other games where they frequently talk/think to themselves and you end up with constant unnecessary inner monologue.
I just imagine this game is sort of like those 40-50s movie/show. Like classic tom and jerry or charlie chaplin, Mr bean movies where there is no dialogue at all.

Don't worry, things won't change much... until everything changes! :)

But there won't ever really be any exposition or inner monologue or narration. And at some point I still hope to do a full update with no dialog whatsoever.

That's the true spirit of a genuine creator!
I'm so far at a loss of comprehensive manufacturing of a readable something of what I'm supposed to write!
Ya get my drift!
Get it on and make things happen and I'll devour everything!

For those who might be interested, the French translation for the version 0.6b2 is up to date. It is available at this page or via my translations page.

Oh and by the way, I agree, the non-spoken narration is very welcome. In a world where VN (but also movies and tv series) are always making things clear, this "less is more" and non-captain-obvious way of telling things is refreshing.

I didn't have any problem with the (Shannon/Angel/Maeve/Olivia ending) but if some people did have problems, maybe a "End the night with [...]" (or anything with the "night" mention) would do the trick ?

I agree...however, when I raised the issue some know-it-all said that the MC was 'laconic'. Wonder if they realise that you still have to actually say something to have that adjective tacked on to you.

On a separate issue CarbonBlue ...I had to start over since I couldn't remember the game sequence up to my last save (the update took almost a year) and I keep getting this error (episode 1) when I try to do something Shannon told me not to do. Is it that the choice is non-existent? You have to do what she says not to?

It's one of CB's game jokes like the renaming of Maeve...

Its not a real error. Carbon thinks its side splitting funny to add fake errors.

Read what the screenshot says, «Exception: "courage" is not known.», «File "courage.rpy" is missing». ;)

There are some lingering bugs from the early versions that I have had trouble fixing. I apologize for the errors and will try to make sure they are fixed by the new update. I realize you have a choice in pornographic visual novels and I thank you for choosing Unleashed.

I play games...I'm not a developer. I know what it says. Do you by chance have it in your back pocket and can supply it to us who apparently can't read?
