Tjords new games always take me by surprise so I always considered he just shadow-drops them. I'm pretty sure he doesn't talk about future projects in older games' threads very often at the very least.Any news concerning a new title? Or at least some recommendations for similar games I might've missed? I miss seeing drastic physical corruption lately.
Yeah, it seems he doesn't like too much attention to his projects while they are in development state. Especially after a case of Valdana 2.0.Tjords new games always take me by surprise so I always considered he just shadow-drops them. More precisely, for some inexplicable reason, every time I reveal something about the game I am working on, I soon lose interest in the project. I have no idea what psychological phenomenon is at work here, but for the sake of completing my projects, I think it's best to keep them under wraps until the very end.Yeah, it seems he doesn't like too much attention to his projects while they are in development state.
the name escasppe me, but it is a documented fact that talking about something registers in ones mind as doing/creating it, so there is that.More precisely, for some inexplicable reason, every time I reveal something about the game I am working on, I soon lose interest in the project. Tbh, I always thought it was because of what happened to Record of Asturion War. Never knew there was actually another reasonMore precisely, for some inexplicable reason, every time I reveal something about the game I am working on, I soon lose interest in the project. Idk I'm a big fan of the dark-skinned corrupted versions, I kinda miss them from the first game. It would be nice it were a toggle-able option tbhI Loved the second game very much , character models were even better and corruption version were more better as compared to the bimbofied version in game one , story was as deep as always lot of twist and turns , the priest mc always worried he gonna get caught heighten the tension , and the inquisitor dlc was just the cream on the cake this game needed to complete it , as always waiting for the third game with anticipation.
In my honest opinion that would be a complete waste of a game. Part of the fun of corruption is in making them evil, a reverse doesn't really work.Yeah, I think it’s one of those things where there’s no way to please everyone, so it’s best for devs to make them look however they’re feeling.
for another idea, do y’all think a good guy pov could every be cool in this setting? a story about decorrupting a squad of turned girls is something I’ve never really read before.
Oh I know it would be stupid hard, just having 2 forms of final corruption could result in up to double the amount of renders required depending on how the implementation is done .In my honest opinion that would be a complete waste of a game. Part of the fun of corruption is in making them evil, a reverse doesn't really work.
I do agree the appearance modification stuff should be what the developer wants and feels like doing. I think the final result is always better than phoning it in because it's what people asked.
And yeah, the customization idea people talked about is just crazy talk given how these are made.
Will there be transformations atleast?Frustration? No way. I knew from the start that alternative route will not be as warmly recieved as the original one. At that moment, I was in mood for more emotionless corruption, so I wrote just that, everything else was just a background. The mood didn't last until Yuria's corruption, so she got a different makeover, it's as simple as that. :>
Again, I am writing mainly for my own tastes - even if they do not always align with the "market demand".
Also, I have a general outline for third game in the series ready (wherever it'll come to exist depends on many factors, so do not treat it as an announcement :>), and it's vastly, vastly different from previous entires - no doubt leaving some folks who enjoyed Isis/Valdana very disappointed. But I don't wanna write the same basic story over and over again.
