Thanks for the feedback, that's pretty crazy that you hit level 30.as for troops and gold i used cheat engine to get 999 of each troop (why is my cap at 999 when i encounter enemies that have 6 or 7k of one troop) and now after 4 attacks into human lands i'm lvl30.
Noticed that some items even if they say +2 def or +1 luck do not increase those stats or the stat change is one or more moves late (i myself prefer the ability point lvl up where the player sets the points where he wants them). Also someone above mentioned spell power i think that one powers up the caster units like shaman attack or so it was in other games along with intelligence stats .
All in all my thoughts are the game is great so far just needs polishing ,not being a developer myself i can not say if it is better to do so along with adding new content or after all the content is already in the game and maybe a scene gallery would be a good idea like a little book icon in the corner of the screen you can name it "memories" or to be full orc "war trophies"
also along with option to destroy/disband troops one to sell unused equipment so that loot can be collected.
If you can give me details on which equipment was causing the issue I can look into it.
I will continue to add new content and try to improve the game and add features as I go.
I'd suggest that you grab as many troops as you can at Warmaster's tent and stop by the campfire, the wolves were supposed to be sort of an entry level fight.War of Orcs? More like Die to Wolves. Or later in the game, Die to Mages. Combat seems a little hard, maybe its just the learning curve. Maybe in the future, there can be a difficulty difference so noobs like me that need some practice can get it. Or hell maybe just add a training ground so we can practice before beating our heads against an unforgiving rock.
The enemy armies at the end of the current game's content are randomly generated and scaled to the Player's army strength, although they should be a bit weaker than the Player's army. I added these so the Player could keep doing random combat to mess around with it a bit.At some point the developer has to make a choice .....Fight or Fap... Now I'm no longer into fapping (still like the pictures (helps my blood pressure), really well done and sexy as hell) but it seems that it don't matter what you do your going to lose 40% of your army every fight, it seems to be built that way,. I can't find the save game (to mess with it) I eventually run out of troops and money. Is there any point in buying the upgrades because they don't seem to affect the troops. I really like the concept of this game, my computer dosent, it roars when I turn it on. Just don't know what I'm doing, need more control over what units I buy and exactly what the upgraded equipment does before I buy it. (had a few pints ...this post is not meant to be offensive to anyone, especially the dev. just in case I wake up in the morning see it and think, "O shit I did it again"
The stats do make a difference, the damage dealt or received is modified by the difference of attack and defense between two units. For instance, if a unit has 8 attack and attacks an enemy with 6 defense, the difference of 2 is multiplied by 5%, so the unit would do 10% bonus damage in this case.
When luck procs it causes double damage and each point in luck increases the chance of proc. Unit crit stat will also increases luck proc chance. Each point in Morale causes morale proc chance to increase, and Morale allows for the unit to take a bonus turn.
Intelligence and spell power modify magic units damage and will be used later for combat spells.
