It's dependent on another quest. Just keep playing and it will unlock eventuallyExcuse me, most of the orange circles are currently unlocked, and now the "teach julia" is not fully unlocked. What option am I missing?
Until now, I can still receive the task of "teach Applied Physics"

Let me guess - you usually click on "ignore" when you see an error instead of reporting it and posting a save, so it can be properly fixed. Ignoring crashes means that they will snowball and eventually you end up in a mess where "every dialoge that pops up end in a renpy error".who made this update ? the dev ? or someone from a bugerking ? i never seen so much bugs in an update before.seriously .. every 2nd screen i run into a renpy script error.every dialoge that pops up end in a renpy error ....
so let me guess, u dont play your owen game , and expect that others reports the errors to u .....Let me guess - you usually click on "ignore" when you see an error instead of reporting it and posting a save, so it can be properly fixed. The game uses a folder for saves that sits in the windows user app data folder and is not affected by updates and even deleting/"reinstalling" the game. You should not have to copy anything - just delete the old version and unzip the new one. Don't overwrite the new one over the old one because this way you might keep patches that are no longer needed which might cause problems.I've been playing catch up and was using 24.1 up to the end of the first quest on board the station.
Downloaded 24.5 and none of my saves seem to work.
Tried copying saves to the saves folder in game folder - doesn't help.
Any ideas anyone please?
Bugs are part of the lifecycle of any software product. I run every new version I release with a save file from the previous one, play it through, test what I can think of and make a save for the next one. Developers are not good testers because we are biased on where bugs can be and when pressed against deadlines, we skim through other parts of the code. e.g. I tested changing the avatar's name, I didn't test leaving it as 'Alice'. Guess what - there was a bug when you don't change the name. People here found it out, it got fixed for everyone. Everybody wins.so let me guess, u dont play your owen game , and expect that others reports the errors to u .....
because if u would have u would see the and fix the errors like many other devs^^

That's strange... Can you please attach your save so I can check why this is happening. Thanks for responding.
I've not had a problem ever before and I have been playing pretty much update by update until the recent lockdown, where I did download a few zips and didn't play them - so I jumped from 24.1 to 24.5 - i think there were updates in between.
My normal practice is to unzip the new update, and check I can load my last save from the previous version played.
Then I will delete old folders when I close down from that playing session.
I don't overwrite.
Hopefully attached. That's strange... Can you please attach your save so I can check why this is happening.
Hey, sorry for the late reply, but I had to get my code in working condition so I can run the development version of the game (I'm in the middle of making 0.25, so it's not really stable right now).Hopefully attached.
I was using the compressed version, so I have downloaded the full version and tried that as well now - still nothing loads.
The file attached however has come from the game>saves folder - NOT the User>Apps Data folder?
I have 3 options in the Apps Data Folder: Local / LocalLow and Roaming and I cannot find any Waterworld files anywhere there, though several other games show up.
Strange
I might hang on to 24.1 and go straight to the next update.
Don't fret too much, I am sure you have much more important things to worry about than my temporary inconveniences.
