The problem is the current roster is simply untenable and it got a bit overwhelming. I've said all I'm gonna say about each character, they have all gone through their character arcs and matured as people, but even if I wanted to there are just so many that it's difficult to give them screen time. So, once I was finished with Ashley's scene after two days of not making any progress I decided to set a torch to it and start season 3 without them.

Here's my main question? Why continue the narrative at all? What lingering plot threads or character conflicts still need to be resolved? It all seems done to me.

Worse, you're going into the next one with everyone comfortable. You got to start 1 with her sending out the picture. But, now it's just kind of running along.

If you're really attached to the premise, why not go back to square 1 and take what you learned to making a new cuckquean themed game? One with character arcs and conflicts designed to persist longer after sex with the MC? You're just getting started as dev. You don't need to saddle yourself with this story thread forever, especially if you think you can design it better in the future.

Short answer: it is quite hard to make a male character in Koikatsu which doesn't look like a trap.

It's so damn rare to find games (or any porn format really) with consent and a healthy approach to fetishes. "I think there was a whole lot more you could have done with them" a lot of people have told me that but I have really said all there is to be said about them. They've gone through their character arc and if I continued to include them there wouldn't be much added to their personality, they would just exist. And 10 girls who aren't really part of the plot but need screentime is too much to keep track of. So, I can either have a holding pattern where nothing happens other than back-to-back sex scenes or introduce new girls and try to develop on those, but with 10 girls already in the plot who need at least some screen time there will be so many distractions that I won't have much time to expand on the new characters. So, I felt it was best to trim the fat, the girls were nice while they were there but I feel bad relegating them to the role of one dimensional side characters. Best to let them make their exit while people still like them rather than forcing them to stick around until people start to dislike them.

After playing I can say I generally liked each girl if not being a fan of some of their fetishes, seriously can't be aroused when it get's into the debasing of Molly, and was honestly confused that the first real choice was about pregnant content...that's the bridge too far?!?

Honestly I can't even classify this as a harem game as there is little more than a fuckbuddy relationship with all the girls and they just leave unceremoniously.

In addition, despite the game reiterating it as her desire, I can't see the relationship between Molly and the MC as anything but abusive. In regards to Molly for obvious reasons and for the MC as he was coerced into this life, struggled against it throughout, and by the end is little more than a shell of a man.

Probably won't play the next iteration as I continued the current games more out of curiosity than anything else..

I get what you're saying, but the problem is that when she went down on Karen, the MC hadn't done shit with her and didn't even know she's interested, so there's no "winning him back" involved. I know that wasn't your intention, but for me that scene was plain cheating. Her husband is trying to fulfil her fantasy and her response is to start a sexual relationship with someone else, behind his back... The fact that he was cool with it afterwards, just made me dislike him a little bit too for being too passive. I know a lot of people don't consider girl on girl cheating, but she never asked him if he would be ok with something like that, so the fact that it worked out in the end, doesn't really matter. If I was in his place I'd just walk away (after telling her to go fuck herself probably... or in this case keep doing what she's doing...). She went from "I'm not a lesbian" to getting wet watching that other girl licking Karen, in an instant. Right after the MC slept with the first girl, she went and do the same thing, with the only difference being that in the first case she planned the whole thing for the MC, when he had no clue what she was doing in the second. To me it seemed more like she did it for herself and that ruined the whole cuckqueen fantasy. If she's going to bang any woman who acts a little bit assertive, she's not a cuckqueen, but just a submissive, horny bitch.

She started as a loving wife and like I said I actually felt kinda sorry for her being humiliated, but that scene made her look like a cheap hoe in my eyes and from what you said she keeps banging other girls without the MC being involved, so there's no point for me playing the second season or keep commenting here.
