God damned, now i get it why this game took more than 1 year to render. In the first 10 minutes of gameplay, 8 minutes are animations

Ya as someone who's not a fan of NTR, I agree with what Machete talked about earlier that if you catch your girl cheating, you should be able to basically kick her to the curb and call an end to things with her permanently. As long as those options are there then I'm good. I don't mind other dudes being in a story because it's realistic, and women can be little sluts so as long as the MC can treat them appropriately in such cases, then I can handle it.
I am neither for it or against it, Ill play all routes as to see how things unravel, for example sometimes you find out things about certain characters you would not have known otherwise ( this is however done only very rarely as it requires the Dev/Writer to actually write something instead of adding something for the sake of adding it )
I however agree that there are no NTR that is well done and most are just added for the sake of being added, given that there are some that have tried and some that do it a whole lot better than most. By that mean games like these who tell a story and is not centered around cucking or sharing, But basically have a good story and plot and choices.

I agree that if and when caught you should be able to just kick em to the curb or confront them or even get back at em if if you so wish instead of this whole defeatism nonsense that most games do and especially when you have from the get go a smart and intelligent MC who has a backbone but all of a sudden when he sees "his" girl getting pounded all of a sudden becomes lost and pathetic. It makes no sense and is stupid. To give an example, if say for example you have an MC who is good in electronics and decent looking and has been able to come up with a good plan to blackmail say his boss or problems away by hitting them on their weakness or whatever. He who has been with this girl should know any and most of her gripes weaknesses and worries, so if she fucked him over and found out without her knowledge, he can set up a recording and divorce and kick her to the curb or he can choose to lose feelings let things play out and plot a revenge. Options should be given to fight back period. If you do not want too than choose not too. Another thing if break ups were to happen and your Ex ends up sleeping with others that is not NTR they moved on just like you and as such they are not with you anymore so games where break ups happen and the SO moves on are fine too and are not NTR nor Cheating.

Good example of a fight back despite game being mediocre is Inside Jennifer, Where she got taken advantage of but you can choose to fight back and later on that person tries to still take advantage by blackmailing, you can choose to ignore it but he in turn does send the pic to her husband, you can choose to let it go or you can choose to get back at the blackmailer and boy does she get back at him, she utterly destroys him despite the fact that her relationship is now pretty much on tin ice she got her revenge. This is the type of shit I want to see, but again that game itself has many flaws too it is simple and a lot does not make sense, however that getting back, that was well done. That needs to happen more often.

I played through the older version and i'm very puzzled. It's a rollercoaster of randomness that suddenly stop for obvious reasons, since it was wrapped up to restart the project anew.

But honestly i hope the devs will take a more linear path this time.

I mean, a family drama with a local goons gang which suddenly is incredibly rich and politically powerful, so there is an overly complex setup against God knows who, but MC's girlfriend is a super ninja out of the yakuza, who suddenly disappers with her former family we don't know why, upon finding out that MC has a secred shady past, and yet again the family drama surfaces, but the hope of salvation is a childwood crush and...

I mean, someone helps me! :D It's really too much. I strongly recommend to get straight which are the main points of the story and work on them.

It's not a critic, it's a constructive feedback. I really enjoyed the characters in the old version and i think this game can be a diamond in the rough to polish.

For someone who hasnt played this game, is there even that big of difference between the remake and the old version?

Asking the question to know what version to choose... not really looking forward for the waiting, might aswell go for the old version

This is a problem now with devs, it's getting pretty bad. The majority of them are being lazy and coming up with the same excuses over and over again just to milk people for money.
It's always a question of marketing dynamics. If patreon keep funding devs who slow down their output, there is no need to keep the output steady. On the contrantrary, it would be counterproductive to speed it up.

Graphically yes, story wise it remains to be seen.
Opinions vary and I'm just expressing mine. That said I found the writing in the reworked chapter far tighter, better paced, with a much more natural flow, especially with regard to dialog, than the original material. Now if you are saying we need to see if that trend holds up, I completely agree, but I find the current improvement encouraging.

I think...Miru is far less of a cartoon character and Helen’s interactions with the MC are better in this version.

But I feel like it’s two steps forward one step back, with the MC himself sort being weirdly exaggerated and more anime-esq in this version.

mmm...maybe not wrong with that. I just really like the way things are going with all the women, especially Miru.

Also, I'm not against an anime interpretation. I love anime. It often brings out emotions better than anything else. I dunno. I was very critical about this rework, but I really like it.

I don’t dislike anime either, (Attack on Titan right now ) but I feel like the new version doesn’t quite mesh together that side of things with how overly dramatic and philosophical it’s trying to be.

I have a general question since I never played the original game - is there quite a bit of incest in this game? (I don't have a problem with that at all as I've always liked bro / sis stuff, just curious)
