Yes there is. On the fuck anything that moves path there was an option to break up with her before her one and only sex scene to date or keep it going. It hasn't come up since then, but she thinks she's exclusive - for now.
Good thing each release isn't "little improvements" then, sweetheart. Which you should be perfectly aware of, since you "love" this game. After all, if you "love" this game you'd be keeping track of information conveyed by the devs, thereby keeping yourself fully aware of precisely why the time between releases can increase.
Alternatively, act like a troll and make baseless accusations...

Like it or not devs always try to milk patreons. The only ones that dont , are those who post regularly updates (see treasure of nadia for exemple) or those that set to get paid once an update is provided (not monthly)

That's a very generalising assertion you're making... You weren't a patron of Gumdrop's were you?
You're leaving out the ones who pause/stop their payments when there are significant enough delays, or they have to take extended time off for whatever reason.
Let me be clear, there are devs who use crowdfunding to make easy money, and there are those who abide their obligations to produce the content they're being patronised for. The former is only possible because of the people who continue to provide money whether they're aware or not. They're the ones people should complain about.
There has been zero evidence of Cheekygimp being a "milking" dev. He, and the others working on WTHI that have been posting here, have been open and honest about issues that have arisen. All the proof of that is here, in this thread.
Despite that, insufferably lazy people who are too selfish to exercise common sense and initiative, don't look for all that info, and if they're not asking for when the next update is (even on the same page the latest information about a release estimate can be found), then they're making baseless accusations of milking.

These are the rough dates for the previous several releases, as far as I can tell. (thread searched and looked at compressed/android ports and that sort of thing)
Difference between Ep 17 and Today = 107 days
Difference between Ep 16 and 17 = 156 days
Difference between Ep 15 and 16 = 58 days
Difference between Ep 14 and Ep 15 = 68 days
Difference between Ep 13 and Ep 14 = 49 days
Difference between Ep 12 and 13 = 57 days
So, this update is definitely taking longer than usual, but before the last two updates they were fairly consistently in the ~50 day per update range. Hopefully whenever the team issues get sorted out, it'll return to that. I think it'll be out quicker than Ep 17 was though.

The Problem is that you have a lot of decisions and thats why you have a lot of branches ... every branch need text and perhaps new render/animations so it is normal that the update takes longer with more story/decisions in game

I couldn't disagree with you more about Katie. Yes, not much as events has happened with her, BUT her emotional and social growth has been really incredible. Keep in mind we are talking about few days in the game. Everything has happened in less than a week. Katie went from a hard-shell bitch who never ever experience real love and used to stay though nomatter what, to a girl who finally managed to say "i love you" to someone; a girl who for the first time explores her feminine side. That is HUGE and if you can really appreciate it, she is your girl.
Also a while back we made a choice - either tell her to try and change herself into a "better" or more properly - politically correct, fake, nice, refined person or keep her flamboyant temper. I love that rough, raunchy, dirty, speak-what-u-think personality. For a woman it's extremely rare and as i said it before, that's where 99% of Katie's charm comes from. Yes she's still scared of addressing her feelings and sharing them, but again - it's been only few days since she started experiencing all that. She still can't trust the MC 100% because everything is simultaneously very new to her and happening very fast.
And lastly - if you've got to known her well, you'd notice that the more nervous she is, the more she resorts to the jokes. And the fact she's constantly nervous around the MC and afraid of her feelings more than she was in the beginning is the perfect sign for her development and this of her emotions.
In my eyes, Katie doesn't need refinement or other sort of change, she just needs appreciation for her uniqueness.

Love the humor in this game.... hope it continues, story seems to be slowly coming to the end, but could do with a good conclusion

I think the aim is about 25 Episodes, more if needed but round about there. And since we're only coming to Episode 18 - Plenty of time for lots more shenanigans to occur and for the proverbial shit to hit the fan! Good times!

That there is why I wasn't talking about Katie's romance with the main character, because not only is it optional, it's not particularly unique to Katie. The big difference between sisters is that Jenna still has a huge role in the story where she tries to help solve the mystery while Katie doesn't.
That's simply not true. Katie asks "Do you wish I was more... elegant? Less boyish and vulgar?" and the most extreme choice in the game is labelled "Maybe a little". Choosing that has him say that he would like her to "Maybe try to tone it down just a little". Which is entirely reasonable. They're out in a fancy restaurant, that ain't the time to be swearing like a sailor. She even said that she wanted to stop with the jokes have a classy date herself!
I wasn't objecting to her flamboyant temper. I wasn't wanting her to change into a "politically correct, fake, nice, refined person". I wanted the old Katie back. The one who did have a modicum of self control. The one who wasn't a one dimensional joke bot who keeps making the same childish jokes over and over until they have lost their charm and become annoying.
Katie was my favourite character for most of the game. I liked the way that they joked in private, and I even called it endearing in the previous post. I don't want her to stop swearing or stop joking entirely. I just want it toned back down to what she was originally because I don't like how that one aspect of her character has been blown out of proportion. If 99% of a character's charm comes from one single trait (as you say it does), then that is a one dimensional character. Which is exactly what I'm saying that she's been turned into.

Katie went from someone who told crass jokes in private when happy and comfortable, to someone who also told those jokes as a self-defence mechanism when things got personal, to someone who constantly tells crude jokes even after saying that they don't want to tell them during a fancy dinner date. It's gone way too far, to the point where the jokes are annoying instead of endearing. It has completely changed the tone of those scenes when she does tell jokes, since she now does them when uncomfortable instead of only when comfortable. And the rest of her character traits have been neglected for too long.
