Well Tolkien might not have been a great fan of progress as a World War I survivor. Some say that Mordor and the marshes were based on his experiences on the battlefield, but he def was playing with some parts of the Bible stories and trying to marry them to some of the viking legends and myths in the Silmarillion and rest of his works. So he likely would have enjoyed you trying to build a world of your own. :)

The fapping though, well he was English. So no sex please.
Hardly. He fell in love at 16, married her at 30, had 4 children and partecipated in the battle of the Somme. He probably had forearms of steel :winkytongue:

Eddisson is kinda old, so I guess better as an adult with a bit better understanding of what that means for a story.

Now if you read Asimov's foundation again with his whole I, Robot arc and think of Big Data developments and then take that one step further and you start using the patterns gleaned from big data to start influencing people or a whole society? Scary thought is it not, but that is a big part of the idea behind foundation from Asimov in my eyes.

Worm Ourobouros is a bit old-fashioned, but you can see some of the themes from later fantasy works in them. Enjoy.:)

Foundation was a long time ago for me, guess I was a teen as well, but the idea of manipulation of a society always stayed with me when heard of new developments in advertising.

One of the reasons(amongst many) I avoid commercials and news outlets. To me, anyway, they are all just ways of telling us how to feel/think. if I hear anything interesting I try to find different sources of info to attempt to piece together semi-coherent idea of the facts. Though, that does lead to some strange people with some intriguing "comspiracy theories" on almost any topic. Or is it intriguing people with strange theories? meh, who knows.

Ockhams razor also works on news and information provided by unknown sources. I am not so much someone who thinks most governments or media or corporations try to hurt you. They most often just do not really care about you, for those like Fox News that do though, you have to be very careful.:evilupset:

Out right hurt, no. Most(well many anyway) people have an overblown sense of worth, that leads them to think that a company/government that has millions(if not billions) of cattle to worry about are focused on them. Its the same persecution complex that feeds many a religious group control. But I can understand the control of trends and mob mentality. Was it not Terry Goodkind that wrote the series that turned into the syfy channel series Legend of the Seeker, where the first book was the Wizard's first rule(that I quote often) "Humans are stupid." The final part of the rule being they are stupid because they believe anything they fear to be true or anything wish to be true.
BTW, the tv show was ummmm... not so great to put it mildly, but then again I was 7 or 8 novels into the world when it came out.

By the way Jack did you miss my post reminding you of the outstanding questions and some musings about the prophecy with those warnings you missed or do you think not time for answers yet? Or were to busy with the lighter update not working as should?:)
Ugh... you know, I have been working almost 16+ hours a day between my regular work of MoCap cleanup for the video game company that I work for and May's release of Wicked Choices and to be honest with you, kind of even forgot what your questions were, so if you could link me to them again, I will get to them bud.

Not only did he marriage some of the bible into his works but C.S. Lewis did as well with The Chronicles of Narnia and his Space Trilogy where the Garden of Eden was on Venus... Even Brian Lumley did with his Necroscope series and many, many, many others.

Religion and Mythology is common ground in which to draw parallels when trying to produce work that hammers at individual's morals and faith... novels and writing is also a great means in which to work out the inner demons and call to question one's own faith in themselves... for me, writing is a personal experience, as I use my own experiences wrapped within my work...

...so yeah, I would like to think that some of the "greats" out there would find favor with my own work; they might be confounded as to my choice of venue from which to explore those things and the audience I choose to reach with it, but like to think they would find favor with it, none-the-less. ;)

Television, news and commercialism today is utterly horrifying to me... and I try to avoid it as much as possible myself. It is more subjective than it is objective these days and is more akin and reminds me of...

Yes, the eye's sweet tooth was definitely sated. My reaction so negative(knowing that changing formats sacrifices are going to be made) mostly based on I was still reading the series, so details were fresh in my head.

Okay... going to try to answer some of these, the replies may seem a bit cryptic and if so, forgive me, as you are honestly asking stuff which will be explained over time and in some ways the answers might not make a whole lot of sense when not in context to their actual reveal... and, some, I won't answer at all... it's not Christmas yet. ;)

-Who is actually the father of the delectable, cute, irresistible Syrina our beloved little FAP and am I right in suspecting the children take after their mother?
Not going to answer this one right now, as to who Syrina's "father" is... it will be revealed later, but I will state that it was a human that was is mentioned in the bible.

As for who the children "take after", personally it is subjective to the one that they spend the most time with... however, the "power" and "abilities" are usually passed down from the one with the strongest genetics.

For example, Lynara (though inexperienced and only just awakened to her power) is more powerful than Syrina... after all, she is born of Lilith and of Rhianna, who was is/was one of the most powerful ORACLES of the Angelion race; whereas, Syrina was born of Lilith and of a human... a well known human, but a human, none-the-less.

Is it correct all other parties in the game are unaware that she is back to her delightfull blood and bones body  instead of stone and was her being unfrozen masked by the awakening of MC to his heritage?
The only one that knows that Syrina has been freed of her imprisonment right now is Lilith (her mother) and now Rhianna and Azera... and it was confirmed as a powerful ripple of magic was felt by those who are sensitive to magic... so, even some humans may be aware of the fact that the time of the Antichrist is NOW, as well... ;)

Has the mean writer of this game been feeding us some intentional misinformation/misdirection by making Syrina say that MC was the first male Demonothan?
Nope... not really.

One needs to understand that Angelions and Demonothans only give birth to females... even if they crossbreed with other races than their own (and remember, it is FORBIDDEN for Angelions to breed with anyone other than their own race and only if permitted by the Queen) so it is VERY, VERY, VERY rare that a male is born... and to date, only two males have been... the MC and Jesus Christ.

Jesus was born from the coupling between an Angelion Archangel (Gabriel) and a human female (Mary) that likely had some Demonothan ties in her family history... this was done under orders by Queen Azera and Rhianna's mother as a means to further push their faith and religion, creating a martyr that humans would rally behind to further press their religion and purge Earth of the Demonothans.

The Antichrist however, is the opposite... hence the term "Antichrist"... not just because he is against the teachings of the Angelions and what they stand for (should the player choose that route) but also because of the manner of which the Antichrist was born.

If that makes sense.

Might maybe the uberbitch Azera has had a hand in his birth or Jesus so the prophecy can finally be fulfilled and she rule all after having destroyed her hated enemies. She does strike me as the type that would sacrifice even her own childeren.
Not Azera, but her mother... yes.

You have quite a few balls in the air at the moment and plot lines as well, hope you are still dexterous and good at handling that many balls. Agree with Ennoch, nothing wrong with two races of women as your personal harem and some well chosen human females as well. o_O If remember right in past you let slip once or twice most or quite a few of the polytheistic religions were either inspired by the Demonothans or they used those religions to identify with. Guess Bacchus must for sure have been a Demonothan or was quickly personified by one.:cool:
Actually, because of their power, the Demonothans were the basis of the polytheistic religions, such as the Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Asian and Mayan gods. Many of them adopting human male counterparts to exercise their power through, since humans are a "male dominated" race.

That does bring me to one of my other musings though, what is the exact meaning and wording of the Prophecy (we had some overall clues till now, suspect that this is still a state secret at the moment:biggrin:) and who/what is the source of the Prophecy some of the talented had and aligned with that what are the religious belief systems of the Angelions and Demonothans? Am I correct in assuming that the kind of religions they inspired actually might have a resemblance to their own? Thinking for example of Tolkien's work in the Silmarillion with Iluvatur as Supreme god but his angels more or less acting as Gods in the real world? Also with the introduction of the new lady at the end of last update, one cannot escape the suspicion another party has an interest in the happenings surrounding MC and the Prophecy.:p
The prophecy, in part, is the Scriptures of God, the bible itself... although, keep in mind, the prophecy which was foretold by oracles of the Angelions and has been tweaked by the leaders of the Angelions (Queen Azera and her mother) leaving certain parts out of it... and also heavily edited and perverted by man over the years as well.

Equally, keep in mind, the Demonothan oracles have the same prophecy as well... after all, their oracles can foresee into the future as well... so they also have the same prophecy and their version of the "truth" behind the antichrist is chronicled in their own writings... whether that is a true version is also debatable. ;)

To be honest, I never read the Silmarillion done by Tolkien... I was never much for Tolkien's poetry... so can't reflect on that part of your question. x'D

Interesting answers. Thanks. :)

By the way the Silmarillion are not poems for th main part, they are a loosely aligned number of tales that make up a great part of the older history and beginning of the world of Middle Earth. In a way it was his way bigger undertaking, though never finished by him.:)
