June’s 0.5.1.0 Release on Front Page & News (June 22, 2018)

Okay folks, this is going to be a mixed bag of information today, so I must ask that you take a little time to read this…

As the title states, June’s release is now up on the Front Page, just need to wait for @UncleVT, @Pepé Le Pew or @klx to update it on the "Latest Updates" for everyone else to know that it has been released.

There isn't a Torrent link or mirrors, yet, but will post those as they come in if @JayneCobb and @UncleVT create them again... that is the GOOD NEWS…

…now, for the not so good news…

July’s release, like May’s and June’s releases are going to be slightly late again for our patrons and for those from F95 that support us and get the game at the beginning of the month for a combination of factors… please, please, PLEASE read this part!!!

July’s release will have a bunch of combinations of different activities that you will be able to choose and do as your character performs the ‘Ritual of Power’ that you and Syrina need to power up.

During it, you can choose how you want to go about performing that ‘Ritual’, who do you wish to have prepare your sacrifice: either Mariam, Edith or would you prefer to do it yourself… throughout the ‘Ritual’ it can either be a one-on-one experience with the beautiful Jamila… or it can be a threesome and if that isn’t good enough for your desires… well, it can be an all out orgy between yourself and three women, the choice will be yours!!

The thing is… my God, it is a BUNCH of renders to do this scene (particularly since we don’t use ‘sprites’ in our game) so things are taking time to render everything correctly to give you the most BANG for your buck.

To make matters worse, I was already playing ‘catch up’ for the other months that I released a few days late, so I keep getting further behind in my work cycle… VERY FRUSTRATING!!

Then to add insult to injury, as many of you know from my earlier posts this year, it is time for my next round of cancer screenings to see if I am in the ‘CLEAR’ or things have progressed to a point of needing to be aggressive… the wife and I (as I am sure Palanto and all of you) are hoping it is the former, rather than the latter.

And… as if that wasn’t enough, I will need to travel out of town for a couple of days next week as soon as my CAT Scan is finished and head to Chicago for one of my jobs… for those who want to know what that job entails and to see me at work, you will be able to do so by tuning into FS1 (Fox Sports One) on Friday night at 9pm Eastern time… just look for the guy wearing a Black Leather Cowboy Hat while you watch it (yes, I will be on the television).

I apologize in advance to ALL OF YOU who have been financial supporters, as well as, to Palanto, for getting as behind as I have in my work… I know that many of you yell at me for apologizing, but I don’t like being late in my work even by a couple of days and @Palanto Games and I have talked about ways that we can avoid this in the future with the Sequel Game that will be coming out once this one is finished in August.

I thank EVERYONE of you for your continued support, your prayers and well wishes, as well as, your friendship… I never thought that I would have Patrons and supporters from F95 that would see this game from BEGINNING to END, nor all of the wonderful support that I have received during the course of the MC’s and Lynara’s journey…

But… it ISN’T over yet, so I should get back to it, answer some of the posts from here and get July’s released finished!!

Man, I can't wait till I get things caught back up around here so I can spend more times in the forums... heck, I am turning out to be like @DA22 by not being much (he is doing OK, BTW, talked to him a bit and he misses all of us!)... so got to get caught back up so I can come and chill with everyone!!

@Catwashere, like @Wyrme and @UncleVT have indicated, the ending of the game is going to be more realistic in impact than fantastical... while it would be nice to have a thousand possible endings that end on happy notes with every woman in the game wrestling nude in pudding, fighting for the opportunity to do some MC cock gobbling and begging to have their pussies and asses pounded with hard flesh... sadly, not going to happen.

Some characters will die, even more characters will die if people become full on idiots and don't pay attention to what they are doing... and, while there will be a harem route ending, like Wyrme has stated, women don't always place nice with each other or share well together... so the chances of that ending coming up for everyone, well... probably are going to need to use a walkthrough to get to it!!!!!!!

Truly, there are going to not just be characters that die in this game... there will be those that also will go against you depending on your choices, not everyone is going to agree with what the 'Antichrist' wants... so expect some people to move away from the character or out rightly oppose the MC or Lynara because of differing opinions, viewpoints or feeling jaded and unimportant.

It is all going to depend on how much or who the 'Antichrist' is willing to sacrifice, what the other characters are going to allow or tolerate that truly determines the ending of this game... and expect it to be realistic in those moments.

That's just the way I roll!!

Yeah... heh... nagging really doesn't work, ask the wife... I'm obstinate about things. LOL

To be perfectly blunt and honest, I don't know how to slow down or relax... I sleep either 2-4 hours a night and the rest of that time I am keeping myself busy doing something work related (unless it is during the 2 or 3 hours I get to spend with the wife a day)... the rest is work.

When the doctor informed me that I might have prostate/kidney cancer, he asked if I would like to receive therapy or check out one of those group things where people get together and talk about shit... I told him, I couldn't... don't have the time for that shit and I deal with things best when I am buried under a mountain of work.

Sad thing is, my body is slowly falling the frick apart on me... my next issue to get looked at once I make it past this whole [possible] cancer thing is getting the tendonitis in my right elbow repaired... for the last 3 weeks I have been working with a splint and some sort of compression thing the doctor is having me wear around the tendons to keep them from tearing more...

...apparently, the human body (particularly at this age, according to the doctor) is not intended to work 10-16 hours a day on a computer and doing repetitive motion (such as typing and mouse work)... who knew?!?!

But, this is the life I lead, the jobs I have chosen for myself and the promises that I made to those that depend on me (such as my wife) and those who have come to support my game... pain I can deal with... setbacks, false promises, being late... that I have a problem with and, despite people's advice (the wife's, Palanto's, the doctor's or anyone else) I try to keep the word I have given, for what are we if we can't keep our word?

Now, before you add your voice even more alongside that of Palanto's and my wife, let me state that I WILL be taking some time off (a couple of weeks) once the game is complete in July/August and before starting the next one... just to be sure that I can go another year without any real setbacks or disappointments from those who support us.

So, just a few more weeks... a month or so and I will take a break... I promise!!

Yes, follow the instructions on the frontpage that states that you need to have the base game loaded before playing any of the updates. There are instructions on the frontpage that will help to walk you through the process.

I did that - so I thought - Had base game last month then updated that from 0.4.4.1-to-v0.4.5.0 then updated that from v0.4.5.0-to-v0.5.1.0 - is that wrong?

No, sounds like you did it right... perhaps when you went to update, it didn't overwrite things and created a folder within a folder. Did it ask you if you wanted to overwrite things when you tried to install the 0.5.1.0 because if it didn't, it created a new wickedchoice folder within your main wickedchoice game folder... if that is the case, cut everything out of that second (and newer) folder and paste the contents into the main folder, select OK to overwrite and you should be good to go.
