A little something i made for fun....The watch is a tribute for our German friend Palanto Games, and also represents the countdown for the next chapter. :angel:

Well I'm actually already finished with the next part... my pc just crashed tonight so I've to upload the android version and the full game version again ;) But then it's in @ASLPro3D's hand when to really release it x'D

That is great news Palanto, outside of your computer crashing of course. Also means ASLPRO can get a bit ahead of schedule while taking care of his health. Def nice one Footfan.

For me I am just a worldly saint Ennoch, so do enjoy the finer things in life, like a pretty lady.

Me, I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints (yep, a quote there :) )!!!

As for March and April, good story progression and preparation and lots of secrets revealed and relationships forged with the FAP in April... and May will see you back with Lynara and deciding who you should be naughty with... will it be some guy, with Carina, a FUTA... or with yourself... or (maybe multiple people)... the choice will be yours, but beware, this will be the beginning of the corruption path for our Angelic Princess... so, you'll have to decide how you wish to proceed with her!!

Well enough giving secrets away... ;)

Time for me to get back to work!!

Sounds like there is much too look forward to these coming months. As a gamer and a fan of your game, i do appreciate all the hard work you guys a doing. Thanks for all the secrets! Get the impression that you guys are hyped and proud of the coming chapters. :extremelyhappy:

I for one will be doing a lot of experimenting with all the choices that will be available. Though im not into guys, there probably are fans that are. So that option make sense. I like that you are giving the gamer the freedom of choices to try.

Make sure you dont burn out. I rather see you guys take a month off and rest, then something rushed because some fans are screaming for the next part. :cool:

Could probably do much better if i had photoshop, then perhaps not. Have not worked with the prg since 2005.:closedeyesmile:

I see myself as a sinner with a good heart. Even if my intentions are sometimes for corrupting a female for my own pleasure, niece or not. ;) I could not use my character raping a woman or use violence as a form of pleasure with the opposite sex.:angel:

Can't speak to how many lines of code there is, per month, as @Palanto Games is now handling the programming and, I am sure, he will tell you it varies depending on me and my insanity at any particular month... but I can give you a pretty good idea of where we are at, writing and image-wise in the game with April's chapter in the tally...

The game currently contains 4,260 dialogue blocks, containing 97,190 words and 545,231 characters, for an average of 22.8 words and 128 characters per block. The game contains 50 menus, 2,065 images, and 23 screens.

As a novelist, I can tell you that the game is considered a "Novel" in word count alone and the fact that the game (which has only been out for 7 months) has FAR MORE images and content than most games the same age as ours... 10x more in some cases...

...hence, my suggestion at Palanto always referring to me as being "crazy". x'D

Got too many people counting on us to take any real time off, but have slowed down on my MONSTROUS sized releases... got to much going on here to really crank loose like that right now, but will never, ever, ever, leave our fans or Patron's holding an empty bag if we can help it (will need to be near death for something like that to happen)... ;)

Haha! I try to leave my moral compass behind when playing games. And that is why games like these are so fun to play. Wont even lie about it. The devs can use it as feedback for future choices in the game that leads to a negative or a positive impact on the story line. :closedeyesmile:

I have no problems with having sex with family members or the age differences in games. I get to live out my deepest darkest perverse fantasies. Is that not the point of a porn games? :angel:;)

Possibility with a futa for Lynara? Nice! Hopefully the male mc will get his chance to have a futa romance partner too.
Yes, there most certainly will be an opportunity for that in upcoming releases, as well as, the opportunity for M/M and also messing around with someone possibly transformed into a woman, or even partially transformed. ;)

WOW! That....That is a seriously huge workload. I'm am impressed that you can do this amount of work with so little bugs as i have experienced. Thank you for the reply to my question. Think im even more impressed now by your game. :)

The reason i asked the question and then mentioning that you guys have a rest if you feel you need it. Is because during my short time on this forum, i have tried several games. Some good some really bad. But i also come across games that looked very promising but where the devs just stopped working on them, and later started developing another game.

As you said. Your game is already bigger then most VN´s and i can only see it growing even bigger. So i was a bit concerned that it might grow too big. Hope i did not offend you in any way. I do trust in your abilities to keep the game moving forward. :)

It's probably getting really gigantic, that's because we're trying, or better said ASL is trying to create an immersive story with plenty of details but also has the general idea all planned out. We're already talking about a "novel sized" (meaning real life book sized) game textwise. So yeah it's really getting big and we aren't even finished with chapter 4. Planned were iirc 12 chapter for book one..... X_x Since we have a general idea and plan for everything we won't go over the top, but to implement eveything planned we'll need a lot of time, since we're just three people and sadly most of the work is on ASLPro3D it's getting a little crazy workload wise... So as you can see the last releases were all kinda small, many people complained about it but it was still a lot of work even though it was less content than the previous releases. But I forced them to slow it down a bit because they can't go on like this and keep this release sizes up. There are other things we have to do than just the game, like our real life jobs and then Jacks health issues.... + his sometimes up to 4 jobs at the same time....
If that weren't the case and if we could do it fulltime, which we would love to, we could probably pump out more but as it looks right now we're somewhere at the limit timewise.... a day just has 24 hours unfortunately....

So yes, to answer this question:

It varies, the first chapters were whole chapter releases.
Since chapter 4 isn't yet finished completely I can't tell you how big it will get but I can at least tell you the size it already has.

Prologue: 2986 lines
Chapter One: 2.771 lines
Chapter Two: 1.287 lines
Chapter Three: 2.176 lines
Chapter Four p1: 2.086 lines
Chapter Four p2: 541 lines
Chapter Four p3: 488 lines
Chapter Four total: 3.115 lines (not finished yet)
Whole Game so far: ~12.335 lines of code

Included is the text ASL sends for each chapter, the image definitions (Which I do manually because of preference reasons :) ) , function calls and variable changes.
Excluded are all functions, classes and stuff I did in the background. Which would probably add another ~600 lines of code. Also excluded are all gui changes and additional screens (which I have coded so far but didn't implement them yet because there's stuff missing for them :) )

Yes it would be great if patronage would rise enough that ASLPRO could find someone that could do the renders for him that he trusts. Though will be hard for this game since he already put his own stamp on the story with his renders and style.

We said it before, take the time that you need for each episode and if they need to be bit smaller to be manageable then so be it, even if we might be impatient sometimes and might hound ASLPRO for that April update after his little FAP spoiler as soon as March has been released. :evilsmile:

Ouch that is some serious amount of coding Palanto and really a miracle the game is as bugfree as it is, except for when Renpy is being mean to release new version. :biggrin: Keep up the great work.
