Is anyone else having trouble getting the characters to follow you past a certain point? It seems like there's an invisible boundary around the starting area that they won't walk past.

Side effect of the new path finding they implemented. They did not generate a navmesh for the surrounding area, just one cluster of nodes at spawn. It actually made me a little salty, considering the spawn area soaks up the framerate.
Damn almost 30k per month?, devs get ya asses shakin and drop more content, more interactive sex not just arcady scenes, more locations more things to do, fucking being the main one of course and a storyline/progression, game looks great but for you cash flow it should be waay better, I like the minotaur....
They legit just got that 30k not even a few weeks ago.
Game development actually takes time and the only reason they got the support they have now is because of those arcade sex scenes. They tried showing their patreons a rough draft of doing story and the things some people want, however people pulled their funding and weren't happy due to lack of sexual content.
They simply didn't understand that you can't make a perfect triple A story line in a few months with 5 or 6 people when you have to build it from the ground up after a tech switch. It simply wasn't taken well and they just went back to pumping out sex scenes since that's what the vast majority care about.
Might of actually had some new areas and things to check out if it wasn't taken so poorly when they try to do anything else but work on sex animations.
I suspect they probably have someone working on stuff like that in the background now that the team is growing. But I wouldn't expect to see any of that type of work to come out before mid 2019 as a guess.
I wish that they allowed you to hide the head in PoV, parts of the head gets in the way.
Well I played around with it a bit earlier, and there is a way to get them away from spawn, it's just extremely tedious. You have to bunnyhop them with the possess action. Possess the follower at the boundary, walk forward, possess original character, repeat. It's a damn chore, but it works.

Depends on how potato your pc is.
There is graphics options, so you could probably play it at some low specs. But don't expect it to look very nice.

I'm running it on the highest setting using a Ryzen 3 2200G overclocked to 3.7ghz, 8GB ram, and a Radeon RX550 w/ 4GB. Probably bargain basement quality for any serious gaming in 2018/2019 but more than enough to handle a porn game.
I've tried redownloading it several times, and even tried the public release build, but there's still no sound...

That wasn't the best advice, you should have explored your system and it's capabilities before retrying a download.
Having no sound in an unreal game can be a number of things. If I had to take a guess, I would assume it's your directx support, sound driver, or even your system being under the minimum requirements to run UE4.
First thing you could try is plugging in headphones. If you have a monitor that runs on an HDMI cable, check to make sure the volume on the screen is turned up. Should be self explanatory, try simple things first. Even restart your PC :b
If none of that worked, update your audio and graphic drivers.
Last thing is you should share with us your specs. You can find this by right clicking the windows logo in the corner, and clicking "system" in the menu.
You can then hold the windows logo on your keyboard and press R, which you will then type "dxdiag" in the prompt. This will print out your version of directx which you can also include. If you are running DX8 or below, I'm willing to bet that's your problem.

Try updating directx as well, to the latest version your system will support.
You can also try updating Visual C++ Redistributable, (vcredist) just google it.
I surely like the way this look. But still no gameplay at all. Is this supposed to be a survival game? The only survival thing i can do is reproduction.
Yes, i can totally see that. But look like there is not a single gameplay mechanic implemented. For being a demo(?) it doesn't show anything aside the nice female characters and some porking animation.
There was a gameplay demo before this one. You can try that one, but it's not really worth your time. All the gameplay there is is a bit of dialogue, a buggy encounter with a panther dude, and collecting fruit on the ground.
