I guess I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone that the project's discord server has a section for mods, and fans are actively encouraged to make their own mods.
That can be something as simple as 'I wanted Hermione to have a nun outfit' to 'So, I've written a three part parody of A Midsummer Night's Dream, with Snape portraying Bottom, and I think fans of 18th century Neoclassicalism will really enjoy the way I weaved the fate of Titania together with the political aspirations of Frederick Lindemann, which I think you'll agree, is hilarity in its own right, ahaha!' In other words, your mod can be as ambitious or as simple as you like, and the team will often be around to help you get started.
Reminder: Loafy became the lead developer after originally posting here, saying he had little to no experience, but wanted to contribute something simple to the mod. I think it was a simple weather system? I forget. Johnny likewise joined the team by just cleaning up some of the dialogue, and submitting an early mirror story I believe. Hell, my first contribution to the game was just shitposting, making funny, nonsensical interactions between the characters. The point is, if a chucklefuck like me can do it, you can too! Unless you're too chicken. In which case...well fuck.
Depends on what you mean by that. The easiest way to get started helping out is simply by creating a mod of some kind. You can start with simple clothing mods and work up to mirror stories. If anything, this will get you used to how systems in this game work and how the art for it is created and pieced together. It is always welcomed and people that have made mods have ended up contributing to the game. Some of my stuff is in there.
okok, uhuh. i asked exactly because i recently released a mod for it, which modifies Cho's appeareance and some outfits. guess i'll take a look at the discord then, thanks!
