Holy Cow, this is what i call an update. I've just finished and I'm still a little overwhelmed.
Thank you BD for creating this materpiece and I'm not only talking about tzhe update. I definitly have to replay the game in the next days as i shurly hat some gaps in my memory.
But theres also a thank you to all you crazy guys here with all your theories and stuff, you made the wait especially the last few day quite short and even enjoyable.

Moving forward
First I'd like to thank all of you for sticking around through the bad. So much so that we hit the 2000 patrons milestone today. Which blows my mind, I can not thank you guys enough for all of the love and support. I promise you I do not take it for granted.
Secondly I will be pausing again for a 5th month in a row because of the promises I've made to you guys.
I didn't admit it to myself often but I was not in a good place mentally for a long time there. I was super stressed out and my stress led to poor decisions and promises being made that I had to break which only led to more stress and it felt like it would never end.
That changed yesterday when I finally got the update out... it felt like I took off a set of 50lb body weights. I finally feel like I can put the things that have happened behind me and start moving forward .
I don't know how to explain it but I feel amazing right now. Definitely the happiest I've been in a long time.
With all that being said there are a few changes to how things will happen from here on out.
There will now be an update every two weeks instead of every week and there is no longer a hard release date every Thursday. There is now a release window of anytime between Thursday-Saturday of a release week.
Every tier starting from Tier 1 gets a release every month.
Tier 4-5 gets the first release of the month
Tier 3 gets that same release a week later
Tier 2-5 gets the second release of the month
Tier 1 gets that same release a week later
Updates should range between 200-280 renders long
Release schedule for October:
Oct 8th-10th: Day 8 part 1 released to tiers 4-5
Oct 15th: Day 8 part 1 released to tier 3
Oct 22nd-24th: Day 8 part 2 released to tiers 2-5
Oct 29th: Day 8 part 2 released to tier 1
Other fun stuff planned for October:
Monthly renders (A day in the life of Harper and Natalie)
A few Halloween renders (Let me know who you would like to see involved in these)

quick question, does anyone have a link that lets me just update from v0.7.6 to the current one?
The problem is let's be realistic, this is a porn game, the main char is having himself an harem, their isn't much space to endure some complex narrative on the side, their are so many girls that he is involved with and so many girls that are obviously on the line to get a piece of him, some of them got some dramatic background of their own, Hell the MC himself got some dramatic background of his own, by adding some complex narrative more on the side mean you slow down the entire story development process by a significant margin.
I'd like this game to not take a decade to be finished, and the problem is if you start involving some crappy drama more on the side it'll eat a ton of time that would better be dedicated getting the story of the MC and the girls forward, so its just going to make the entire thing more tedious to deal with. Its been a year since this game began being developed, and in game it has been 7 days, only a week, things are going VERY slowly forward already, if we start adding some complicated drama its going to mean we can expect well over a couple more years to be taken to go thru the next 7 days, its ridiculous.
Also after a fashion the MC already got a foil, his dead father, its obvious their is some dramatic background there to be explored as his father was a violent asshole, so once again if you want a foil its already there, and heck it even fit your example, fathers are the source of all problems in these sort of stories.

Sadly official releases are whole hog or nothing there was a dude on the thread that released an unofficial incremental patches but I haven't seen one for the most recent update
Considering the degree of assault he went thru its actually not enough, it would require him getting a brain scan due to the fact they beat the crap out of him with including a baseball bat, paramedics can check for superficial damage, but any in-depth damage would require an actual visit to the hospital, considering he isn't charged with a crime and it was obviously self-defense, their is little they could have done to just throw him in a cell like that, they'd be forced to escort the ambulance to the hospital, have him checked and remain there under guard until he was cleared.Our MC was checked in the ambulance before being taken into the police station.

Alot of gate keepers here.
No one is beating a dead horse and let's look.at the facts.
#1. DB said on patreon that there won't be any incest. As in according to Patreons rules. He makes more than 20k a month on this game i can't blame him.
#2. DB is leaving the tension between Azel and MC open for now and added tiny nit bits with Cedey/Willow. It's not unrealistic to assume that maybe BD is leaving it open for a reason. This doesn't mean that he will or will not add changes to these relationships later, but what it does do is give him options.
#3. He can't ever say on Patreon at all , "I'm considering adding Incest in the future." And even doing so here could risk everything he has built. Patreon has rules about spying on their creators and using off platform information to hold them accountable. In short even if he is planning for the future, which he may or may not be doing, none of us really know, he isn't going to talk about it at all. That's an unnecessary risk.
So again I'll paint the picture I see. Currently BD has a good thing going and I HIGHLY doubt he's going to risk it by adding Azel/Cedey + MC in fact I'm betting it's not even planed. I mean why would he plan it when clearly he doesn't need it?
So then it begs the question why all the hints and forshadowing if we know it's not coming?
Simple answer. He likely has something else planned for that build up. There could be a moment where Azel and MC finally come to peace and acceptance of their growing relationship right before a terrible tragedy that will tear at the heart strings. This is just an example of many things that could be done with the relationship without actually involving incest.
Another possibility is it's a backup plan.
Yes, everyone might feel Dev is bullet proof and is able to withstand anything that people throw at him. But we live in a cancel culture Currently. All it takes is one person who is offended by something on someone else's behalf to spark a wave of censorship and dismissivness from the platform.
Yes Incest isn't the only thing that could get BD removed from Patreon. If he would have to start over at Subscribe Star how many follow? If you think it's everyone you would be wrong and haven't payed much attention to those whom have been forced to make the change.
So how do you recover a good chunk of those losses? By introducing an element that is set up already that has been widely requested and is no longer a reason for termination. That would be the perfect time to really start those types of relationships.
So what if the ban hammer never comes and he's closer to completion? There are a ton of ways to resolve this before the end if everything goes well so that's not really an issue.
About people asking for it. You gate keeping the topic isn't going to stop the conversation, neither is a few words on patreon or anywhere else. The only thing that's going to stop the conversation is definit answers. Ending it in game.
So should BD do that? HELL NO! Haven't you guys heard the expression no press is bad press? This controversy has kept people coming back to the forum and discussing it for over 1000 pages. Keeping it going for as long as possible is good for business no matter what direction he does or does not go with it. He should milk it until he's ready to decide what he's going to do with it because overall it clearly hasn't hurt the plot.
May not like it, maybe you love it. But your opinions either way don't really matter. The numbers don't lie. As far as VNs are going his numbers are arguably saying that this isn't bad for business and until it is why would you change it?
So my final point is stop gate keeping, stop pretending you know where the future will take us or that you know why he's chosen to have these relationships as he has. Many variables are to be considered and ultimately no matter who you are, you don't really know. Even DB could change his mind tomorrow for whatever reason, as unlikely that is, it is a possibility.
And secondly don't have too high expectations that it's coming. I'm more confident that it will never happen than I am that it will. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I'm saying the Stars (yup I did that on purpose) would have to align perfectly for it to be the right business call and currently they are far from aligning.

I Agree with this statement 100%Then he better starts to rewrite actions with Azel though and keep them more platonic. Let's be honest the way they behave to eachother even in day 7 and have been setup it makes way more sense that they end up in a sexual relation as outside of one.
Besides as said before Azel is not incest, it may be weird since she has played the Mom role for most of his life, but she is not a blood relation.
Also agree with you on this statement. Don't like the endless teases. Either pay it off or don't with Azel
