Interesting. I know little to nothing about game development, but why would new scenes need to be rendered? In other words what would be needed beyond just editing text?

I get that some developers stay away from certain things like the plague because of Patreon. I was mainly curious why there was never a fan one made, because from what I’ve seen in games thus far, if there is a young MC and a milf living under the same roof, then 9/10 there will at least be a fan-made patch created XD

without going to deep into the story the MC is adopted by Azel and now the MC is going off to college in another state the MC and Azel have a strong relationship (nothing sexual) and she moves with him to the college. There fore the typical landlady scenerio does not work. Now later in the story we find out the MC mother is still alive and the MC wants to find her, he also learns that he has a sister as well. Now with that information there are 0 lewd scene for any of these characters they are all called out as family members in the story and all hold important roles. Which is why if lewd content is to be added it would need to be created by someone other than the developer since he has stated he will not add that content to the game. Just browsing games at the moment. I noticed a lack of an incest patch for this one, even with this game having an "adoptive mother" character. I searched "incest" and it seems to be a hot button topic for this game. I've seen tons of other games that have step-mothers, landladys, etc. that have an optional, often fan-made, patch that alters dialogue to make it incest. Say whatever you want about it, but it's still a very popular kink.

Anyway, this game seems to be fairly popular, and I was wondering if there was any particular reason why no one has made an incest patch for it, while so many other games like it do have one. Is the "adopted" status very vital to the plot to where just some dialogue edits wouldn't be enough to make it work? Yes I know that "Not all games need incest!!" etc. I was just curious as to what made this one the "odd one out" and not get one while so many other dozens have?

Again, not saying that every game needs or should have incest. And I also got the impression that some people got attacked for even inquiring about it with this game. I'm just curious is all.

Well this one a patch is not all that would be needed someone would have to write dialog for scenes and do all the render work too. Most games that have incest patches use the landlady cheese. So unless someone talented comes in and writes new scenes, codes it and renders them it won't happen here. That and the developer took a hard stance on not adding incest to the game.

Well that and lets be real here - its Patreon thats swinging the Incest ban hammer. Ive seen nowhere personally that BD has ever said outright he never intended Azel as a love interest - the family? sure, he didnt even know them at the start of the story (its NOT one of those many other landlady VNs as a result from that alone) but she has been cock teased and shipped with the MC by the games own narrative and characters since day one so alas new players will keep getting confused as to why she is not a harem option yet in a game where a guy is fucking half a town without prejudice in a single week lol.

Dont get me wrong he might be trying to fix this cock teasing of new fans in his week one revamp which is also changing narrative in say Shaunna storyline (and hes already retconned other stuff like the Princess storyline) so there is no longer this sexual tension and belief that a lovely character in Azel will die alone never having had a proper relationship because she is head over heels in love with the MC, everyone knows it and yet she has to sit on sidelines and watch what will end up being literally every other girl in their house fucking him instead of her.

Ill be glad when the "evil modder" finally shows up in that regards because it weakens Azel as a character. Her premise that she will happily die alone without intimacy with everyone so long as the MC is happy is pathetic as a trait in all honest, even her updated card mic drops her forever aloneness lol. She should have a love interest of her own but i guess as soon as you do it the very same people attacking people asking for incest content with her would turn from BD stans to BD haters as this would somehow constitute NTR or something as she would be fucking someone else not the MC despite the main character apparently never going to fuck her himself.

I doubt it's the latter, due to Patreon even updating their policies to "Even non-blood-related relatives, Adopted, Step, etc. still count as incest" (so stupid imo). There is so much to this vn that it kills me when a few bad apples concentrate on one tiny thing that it doesn't have.

Just to be clear I have no issues if incest is added to this game at all. I have stated that several times already in the past. As I really want the MC and Cedar to have something further. What I don't like are people who demand it should be added or don't think it is a big deal to someone's way of making a living. Just like those people who come and complain they have the same right as I do to talk here in the thread.

I will stand by BD and what he has said here in chat and interviews, and until he comes out and says he will add it than I believe he will not. There are a lot of things he comes in here with winky faces and other dumb comments but I don't think those are true either. Otherwise we should see a body swap of Stacy and Bailey, the old nurse is actually our true love and she is only 18.

There are plenty of talented people that could pick up his writing style and do renders similar to the ones BD does. Hell there is a fan art page for this game and there are some really good ones in there.

Ok this is probably nothing more than a typo or something along those lines but did anyone really look at the character sheets for Damien, Kenji and Ryker? There is something on one of them that really stands out and no not the jokes about a broken face or douchebag. All three have one thing in common they all say former teammate, however 2 of them have no position listed but one of them does have one listed. Was this a slip up on BD's part or was it a clue that someone is going to be back on the team.
