If we follow the story and what people say and the narrative then no, incest stuff doesn't make sense at all but i've seen the same thing in other games and things were changed to fit a certain theme.

Yeah there's like 17 different storylines going on at the moment (plus the most important one for the time being - dealing with the end of day 4 events) so screen time for Ms. Mysterious will probably be limited for the time being haha (maybe she'll show up at the party? who knows)
