A good friend of mine actually acted similar to Damien back in school ... But i have to say it was another time though. Aids was pretty fresh at the time and being gay kinda made you an outsider.
Beeing gay in a College/High School sports club is still a problem for most of the ppl. I can see why Damien is kinda defensive about it. But i think he'll open up to the MC due to the fact he accepts ppl no matter what, as long as they're being honest.
That's one of the reasons why i love this VN ... It shows how humanity should work.
