Because the dev has added new variables in the game script, so the old saves will not work, remember that it's a work in progress and such thing may happen.
There were many changes in the script of the previous chapters that broke the old saves. That's why I've added the menu to choose which chapter to play, so you don't have to start again from the beginning.
By the way, I just saw that we reached 500 likes on the first post, thanks a lot guys!
