Its not that scene alone, although for sure that is what makes most people bail on the game if they are looking for Lesbian Playthroughs, its also this
and I think one, or two more mentions if you are not on Nina's route. Also, Is Nina the only Lesbian relationship? If not, if you want to play a lesbian route, but dislike Nina you are forced to basically listen about Zia salivating after dicks for half the playthrough, until the new girl appears.
There is not a single instance where her default state makes one think that she might be into girls, or bisexual. The entire time felt like I was playing a 'what if' scenario and the Hetero Zia is the canon route.
Small change from One 'guy' to 'person', or better yet follow it with 'maybe I should start dating girls' anything to legitimize that aspect of her personality for the player...
Here is my initial post for 0.1, I and people like myself are beyond tired about the forced hetero scenes 'important for the plot' and even though I don't think you did it on purpose, that disappointment from the 'lesbian only' misunderstanding was people's first impression of the game and you as a dev. The frustrating thing for me, however, is your continual refusal to make even the smallest of adjustments to the game, even if it means you losing potential customers, or just getting peace of mind by reducing the number of complains on the topic...Seems the OP is the only thing you are willing to edit, it is what it is, I doubt I will return for 0.5, no matter how much I liked the initial premise.

In your incessive need to whiteknight you are making the opposite argument, its on f95zone where the Lesbian tag doesn't guarantee that its only lesbian sex in the game, hence all the people asking if there are going to be lesbian only paths. On a porn tube if you click lesbian, you get only lesbian porn.

Can't wait for more loved this game so far. Actually surprised some of the issues some people what with this game from a few post ive I read on this game's thread as it was clear to me from the start what choices / path was what. ( didn't read all of them) Only thing that came as surprise was the dominatrix scene with the ghost. Either way cant wait to see how this develops im only here for the story don't care about the type of sexual content as so far I like what I see. Especially with Zia and her friend.

It really just boils down to if you consider a hetero non-sex scene where the girl changes her mind half-way to count against a "lesbian path".

Wow. This game is so different from most of the normal stuff on this site that it's pretty refreshing. The writing and dialogue are so nicely written.

All 0.5 renders are complete and the update is in the final testing phase. Both the patreon version and public version will be out this month.

Good update! Gloria is an interesting addition and I didn't expect that kind of dynamic. It should be exciting! Nina and Zia's date was great, though I wonder what went wrong with Uncle Zath and why Zia remembered it at that moment. Can't wait for the next chapter

Not so much disappointed for the lack of straight content, but with the lack of content in general.and? where is this "promised" straight content?
We waited 4 month for an update to the game and it is basically one "stand motionless at the side without seeing or hearing party ever" - which btw. is kind of prominent with "milking devs" - where Zia dates and later fucks a celebrity that was never mentioned before and likely will never be mentioned again.
There was a small section about Nina and Zia as children and how they love-hated each other from the very beginning, but that section was ... not big at all.
Couple that with no choices and thus zero deviation possible and you have a HUGELY disappointing update.
I am on record defending "slow burn AVN's" - and I'm still standing by that, but this is way beyond a slow burn.

I think you missed the route where Zia and Conner officially kick off their "relationship".and? where is this "promised" straight content?
If you were only expecting sexual scenes for "straight content", then I'm sorry to have disappointed you.
But if you were looking for a route where a straight "relationship" is formed. It's definitely in here in this update.
(Unless you're on the Nina Route)
There is literally two major decision making moments, where you
1. Stay with Gloria or leave to the beach.
2. Start a relationship with Conner or just stay friends.
Both of which is going to define/alter Zia's relationship scenes significantly from hereon.
Just like how the date with Nina is completely different from Gloria's.
Even though I don't necessarily agree with the rest of your takes, I can at least understand what you expect in your Visual novels, and therefore acknowledge why you didn't like this update.
But saying there are no choices and deviations in this update is just outright wrong.
