BREAKING NEWS! This is Misty with important updates to share. I've received shocking news from two exclusive sources! Let's begin.

== ZR1 Rachel Milf Showdown ==

As a result of tying for first place with Jessie during the 2022 Milf Showdown tournament, Rachel has appeared in a new outfit! I've been told it's too hot for the public so you will have to endure with just a silhouette for the time being.

This costume will be featured in a short update to Zombie's Retreat 1 coming up soon! More details will be on the way as well as an official look at Rachel's... scholarly attire.

== ZR2 Story Update ==

After a chilly holiday season, the weather in Crimson City has begun to experience unusual and rapid changes!

Reports of zombies have been increasing so be sure to stay indoors and avoid going near the excluded districts in the city.

Leaked reports also suggest that this story update might be the one just before the grand finale?! Wow! I wonder if that means Lucy will finally be receiving a scene? I speak for all of us when I say we've been waiting very patiently Siren.

Wait, who is that silhouette on the right? Oh my! Did I receive a new look to accompany this update too?!

Well, well... I'm sure my grand debut will be unforgettable!

May I ask you something? In this latest version, has there been any updates? Did we get more story or something? I played until the Goddess quest and after that there were no quests. How do I know if the game is over? (I continued playing from my old save from several months ago)

So you can try to play the Jessie content, I forget the trigger ATM, but the last update was Jessie post romance content for winning the Milf Showdown.

First Look Update | Zombie's Retreat 1 - V1.3


Happy New Year everyone!

Today I wanted to share a first look at the next update coming soon to Zombie's Retreat 1!

== V1.3 ==

The V1.3 update is the long awaited update for Rachel as a celebration of her tying for first place with Jessie in the Milf Showdown 2022 competition!

This short update will feature a brand new delinquent outfit for Rachel as well as a special NSFW scene to accompany it! Similar to Jessie's pajama outfit that she received last year!

Unfortunately, this outfit is way too hot to share in a public post so I will be giving a better look to all $1+ ZR Patrons very soon!

Because Zombie's Retreat 1 is 'complete' and only available as a paid purchase, this will be an update to the pre-existing paid version over on the

. If you've already purchased ZR1, you should not have to re-purchase it as long as you download v1.3 from the account that you purchased it from.

Once v1.3 is released, I will re-enable the temporary discount so that $5+ Patrons will be able to download the game if they link their itch accounts.

(To be honest, I think this deal is still live currently, I often forget to unlink it...)

The release timing for this update is still being determined. It will either be in late January or February. I will update you all as soon as I have a much better idea but you shouldn't have to wait terribly long!

In case you missed the announcement on Twitter/Discord, congratulation to Meredith from Zombie's Retreat 2 for winning the most recent Milf Showdown 2024 competition! This is the first time there's been a repeat champion so she'll also be receiving another special costume & outfit in the future!

It's been called out. Apparently he forgot about the XL update. Can't blame him since he is juggling 3 active games 1 secret game and preparing for whatever the sequel to House Chores is going to be.

To be fair, the 2.0 was really more like 1.2XL since it was a massive art update but zero gameplay AFAIK. A lot of work to be sure, but not really a content update.

My hope that ZR1 continues to update (maybe alternating with ZR2) will continue.

Looking at the itch.io page, I'm seeing up to 4 games being worked on: the two ZR games, Kingdom of Passion (currently at 4.1), and House Chores (20.1). Curious if KoP is that secret fourth game or if Siren's working on 2 additional games (assuming HC's sequel isn't said secret game). Also hoping that ZR2 and HC get a lot more content before they jump to v100.

Well ZR1 getting updated is only because of the Milf Showdown winners. So technically it's not in active development. It comes out when it comes out. The secret game is supposed to be related to Zombies Retreat universe to what extent nobody knows.
