Also I tried doing the steps to talk to Mary but she doesn't appear. I hit yes, pressed the right answer and found the church but nothing.

Hi!
As I'm developing the (friendly) fight against Mary, I won't be able to do an update this week (I recommend you to try to find Mary if you haven't done it so you can enjoy the content of the future update).
Here are some pictures (the webm animations don't work here so I didn't put them, feel free to check them on my if you are interested), Mary will also train you and teach you the holy chokehold (don't worry about her, she duplicated herself and uses a clone, which allows her to give you advice... and eventually judge you, however your actions during the fight will not change Mary's affection).
It's anecdotal but I'll point out that I also modified the arrow design.

Hi,

I have finished publishing version of my game, it will not contain the holy chokehold technique because I intend to continue working on it. However, the battle system with Mary is ready, she is slower than the slime, but hits a little harder and has about 4 times more HP. I fixed some problems with the battle system and I will continue to work on the balance. Feel free to give me feedback. Here are some pictures :

Fighting Mary is not a bad idea. But to be honest I am a little disappointed; 2 weeks of waiting and all we get is just a single fight. I will assume you are still working on the ideas I gave you?

There are still a number of things which need adjustments:

- First, the dialogue and animations when we start fighting Mary. It is nice to see it the first time, but can you make it so the skip option also skips the animations? It is a waste of time when we are forced to watch it every time we train with Mary.

- Mary has a huge shield... which she does not use? She does not block with the shield, and we can still hit her anywhere we want. What’s the point? I think you can remove the shield if it is just decoration. Maybe Mary will look better without it.

- Mary has a lot of health, and a lot tougher than the Slime. It makes sense, because she is supposed to be more difficult. But I think she might have too much HP. Fighting Mary takes a long time (unskippable animation before the fight makes it take even more time), and only gives 177 EXP for each fight. The Slime gives just 50 EXP, but each fight is a lot faster. This means training with Mary is not worth it unless you want to see Mary’s H-animations, as training with the Slime is faster and more efficient.

- As for the battle... I think you the TP meter is too problematic. There are many actions which require TP, and those actions consume a lot of TP so we run out of TP a lot. If we run out of TP in one fight, we have no way to fill it up except by entering another fight. This is bothersome and restrictive; I think you should make it so each time we start a fight, our TP starts full. It would also be helpful if each time we take damage, we also get more TP (except when the enemy’s attack damage your TP).

- I did not notice this before when I countered the Slime’s kick, but the counter scene which leads to H-scene actually consumes 50% TP? This is bad game design. The game never gives instruction we can counter enemies, the “Click to Counter” shows up randomly and suddenly in a fight. And unless the player has 50% TP, even if we click to counter, it will fail and most players won’t know what makes us fail, most will assume we don’t click fast enough. In other words, it is deceptive and misleading. Since it appears randomly and suddenly, I think it should not cost TP at all or just AP.

Please do not misunderstand my points, I still appreciate the update. I hope you will have time to work on these.

Great, thank you for the response. I didn't get any scenes with the slime, so that's that, but it's still good to know where the current game is at. I can at least stop trying to find H scenes now that I know there aren't many, yet. Still, I really enjoy the premise and I love the characters so far, so I'm looking forward to more.
How do I do any of the entry events I cannot find them

I didn't mean to say Mary has too much HP. I meant to say Mary gives relatively few EXP, compared to how much HP she has compared to the Slime, and she takes a lot longer to beat. It makes training against Mary not worth the effort.

Also, new techniques, eh? Holy Chokehold? Is Mary our goddess some sort of kinky pervert? I thought she is a goddess with some dignity. (This is sarcasm. I find it amusing.) You plan to test CPR idea with this. Good idea.

Though I still think Mary doesn’t need a shield. In the future, Mary and the Bug Fixer will have a rematch, right? We cannot get a cool scene where Mary and Bug Fixer have their weapons collide, trying to overpower each other, if Mary wields her sword with only one hand. Everyone knows using a sword and a shield are for knights, Mary is a goddess.

To make this game playable it needs basic things.

1. Quest/Event Tracker with clues (like Mary it's impossible to find her without going to read it on a website dumb should never have to leave game to get hints)

2. Game level not everyone is good at puzzle games so give levels of difficulty Easy, Normal, Hard and always provide a skip option after attempting to many times. Nothing ruins a good game but an impossible puzzle for some that are not good with them.

3. If there is a damn story start providing clues early on.

So far from change log no tracker has been implemented so still not even going to take a look yet until I know that there is no absurd impossible to find characters like Mary.

I'm going to make Mary give 277 exp, I think that's better.

Also, for the moment, I want to leave her with her shield, the bug fixer, who has a similar physique, will have a two-handed weapon like a scythe. I plan to make Mary use her shield when she teaches us some techniques.

Anyway, if later I change my mind and find it unnecessary, then I can always change the animations.

During this week, I plan to do some things besides the development of my game, I'm preparing a video trailer, so I can also make a guide.

Otherwise, regarding the mini-games, it is possible to pass the "evil squares" just by touching the model.
