So if you think it through starting with the premises that women now have very strong sex drives and a lot of social power compared to men, the conclusion is that at least the most powerful women might try to form harems. I confess that the whole "NTR" thing confuses me a bit since it's really just being unfaithful in a committed relationship, which is something that happens in the real world pretty often - just a fact of life. I scratch my head when I see it used as a tag or kink(?) since I don't understand why that's needed. Maybe some adult game fans are very turned on or turned off by it? I don't know. In any case, the MC is desperately trying to find a situation that provides the most happiness and personal safety he can get, considering his status in this confusing and dangerous climate. And he's at the mercy of several women at least for the time being. So, he will "cheat" on his girlfriend, etc, because he doesn't necessarily always have the option not to. But I don't treat it as, or consider it, a sexual kink or fetish. Many/most women post-Change don't feel like a monogamous relationship is in their best interests, so they don't commit to one. And the MC does what he must to survive.

Does that make sense? Also, if you can explain what I (clearly) don't understand about netorare, I'd appreciate it.

Edit: sure wish I understood all the facepalms! There are multiple women in the game, and multiple men. Other men besides the MC will have sex with women... but other than the MC they won't be the focus of "sex scenes". As the player you might just be aware that "non-MC sex" occurred from normal dialogue. Is that what we're all facepalming about here? I'm just a simple game dev... your facepalms frighten and confuse me!

being raped is not cheating, and for there to be Ntr it would have to be Nina who does it, but considering the end of the update + what you say about women getting harem and that most of them don't believe in monogamy, it seems to be taking that path.
I have nothing against femdom or muscular women but if it's to see a mc being raped and (maybe) cheated on every update I doubt this game is for me but good luck with your game ^^

Except for one other possible event several releases down the road from this one, the rape attempt early in this release is the only one. It's not intended to be a regular part of the story but (partially) to establish the stakes. Thanks!

with Nina he say no and she pulled him onto the bed, smashed him, make him suffocate and used him beeing unconcious..., it's not because they are in couple that's it not a rape .
And even if you say that it's not going to be a regular thing, the fact that the mc has to have sex with other women just to not get beaten up by them and therefore adapting and surviving in this new world seems to be what the story is about and even if it's not exactly rape, it's still very close to it to me. But out of curiousity i will see how the story evolve in the next update before making my mind on this game .

NTR isn't just cheating, hence why they're separate tags. It's usually focused on a feeling of betrayal or making a person(whether it be the viewer or otherwise) jealous of something they can't have. If you go and play something like this, you'll very quickly learn what the difference is. It's a very divisive fetish because it's morally repugnant(the harsher NTR stories anyway) and evokes some pretty shitty feelings. It's akin to cuckoldry.

It's hard to describe. Playing or reading through an NTR work will give you a much better idea of why people dislike it than just a cut and dry explanation.

People facepalm just to use as an "I don't like that" button, don't think too much about it. Lots of users on this site are sensitive about a dude that isn't MC fucking any of the girls.
