Haha... And I did end up running out of sick days much quicker than usual last year due to missing work to work on AFV. I know it's not a great idea, but it's really tempting since there's just not a lot left to do, but it takes forever since stuff keeps popping up that eats up all my free time. I dream of a day when AFV, and maybe another project are doing well enough to let me devote all my work hours to developing. That would be so fucking sweet!

Love your work, which is very good if this is your first project. You mentioned that there's not much left to do so, does that mean that there's resolutions to the plots set up in Ryan's intro and the Christmas stories in the works? Not expecting any spoilers but, given what you've already teased, to end the story any other way, particularly in regards to the intro, would be disappointing.
Also, based on a previous post you made, it sounds like you're heading for a burnout. Take whatever time that you need so that you can make a strong finish. I believe in ya dude!

When I started this game, I fully expected it to be an unpopular flop that I would wrap up quickly and then take my experience and move onto the next project. I was pleasantly surprised that it got as much attention as it did, and I actually owe a lot of the games early success to F95 and the great mods who have been extremely helpful and generous to me here.
When I talk about being close to finishing up, I’m actually referring to the coming update only. As long as players are still enjoying the game, I’d like to keep it going for the foreseeable future, in fact, I’ve only recently finished laying the groundwork for the kind of content I dreamed about when I started the game. We’ve still got a lot more story to flesh out, and I want to assure you that we’re not just attempting to squeeze as much milk out of AFV’s teet as we can, but we do have a lot of great ideas all worked out that are fresh and original, and will add a lot of great new content, characters and rich story to the AFV world.

If you take sick days off to finish up this update, the next update is right around the corner.

It's a never ending vicious cycle and you only have so many sick days a year, so you need to save them for yourself when you really need it.

Waiting a few extra days isn't going to be the end of the world, but you getting sick and have no sick days to take off would severely suck. Take care of yourself first!

While devoting all your time doing AFV would be nice when you have enough support, I wouldn't put all my eggs into one basket.

Patreon is currently pulling the rug out from under people and closing account for creators on the platform, if you don't have a backup income stream it wouldn't bare thinking of the financial consequences that would have on your life.

I think it would be a sound idea to treat AFV as a passive income to help pay for the lights, rather than relying on it as a main source of income. At the end of the day you are at the mercy of these payment platforms, so having a back up plan is a must!

Thanks for the quick response and the info. You'll be happy to know that your game and Project Myriam were the 1st VN's that got me into the whole VN thing. I played both games intros on Porngameshub and fell in love with them. I'm an avid fan of both games and I appreciate the efforts that you all take to put your games out here. I was inspired to attempt my own but buying all of the resources to start are too damn expensive for me right now. Maybe in a few months I'll try. At any rate, keep up the great work and I wish you continued success.

Which is to have sex with Sidney in the club.
Because
1. The club is only open at night
2. Monday through Sunday at night Sidney is asleep on the bed.
3. 6 Days a week the club will not let me enter and I met with the words
"they will only let me in when mom works"
4. On the one day mom works [which is if I don't pay the mob money]
on that night, Sidney is not at the club.

So what am I supposed to do?

You should be able to visit her in the kitchen in the evening and ask her to work at the club. Then you're able to go to the club at night since she's working there.
