This isn't reddit, i've no desire to yell back and forth for social posturing. My original post should have been more constructive and advised dev to compile movies as video files instead of having renpy animate image series on the fly (which is what I'm assuming he's doing, as this is significantly more resource intensive).

Hello, the videos are webms 1280x720. The advantage of webps is that the compression is significant, but it requires more CPU to decompress, I think. Webms can also be problematic on certain older mobile devices.
I don't use image series because this method is stupidly inefficient when it comes to compression. And the author of Ren'py himself recommends using video files.
A curiosity: I tend to leave the camera always fixed in the videos because this helps with the compression of the webps. The fewer pixels that move on the screen, the better, so a fixed camera helps a lot to keep the files small.

You mentioned you don't use image series but you use webps, do you mean webms? Or does renpy animate them in real time?

There exist animated webp for quite a while now. They are rarely used though.

Another curiosity, I've been experimenting with Honey Select 2 for the next project that will succeed Solvalley, and for some reason the plugin that exports the webps and turns it into webm through ffmpeg is crashing. I'm leaning towards using videos in mp4 format for the next project...

Check if there are any other plugins or software that might be conflicting with the plugin.
Yeah the only problem I've had is renpy seems to not like mp4s for movie displayables, it's fine for full screen cutscenes though...I've had better luck with webm (VP9) for displayables or *.ogg.

the dev removed incest from the game and promised to restore it after it is completed. However, this game is already finished, and I don't see any movement from the developer regarding this.
In other words, this "uncensoring" means restoring the game's incest

No. You can only edit the cards, not the animations.
I'd have to give you the cards, but honestly, my Honey Select folder has over 10,000 of them and it would be hell finding the right cards for each animation, plus you'd need to have the same mods I have installed for them to work.
So far I've only removed one line from the game. At one point, Alexandra was telling Alex about the problem with him having sex with Lara, and before he answered something like "but Lara isn't even my real sister", and now he just says "Heh!"
But I still haven't reviewed all the lines of the conversations between Alex, Lara and Alexandra to see if there are more of these things to correct.

Well, the protagonist sometimes addresses Alexandra as a mother, other times not, it's the same thing with Lara too... to make it easier I separated some dialogues outside the context of incest, but I'm sure there's much more... The dialogues in this game are very messy and inconsistent, sometimes the mc refers to Alexandra as his real mother, other times he refers to her as an adoptive mother, sometimes the mc refers to Lara as his real sister, other times as his adopted sister . Another strange thing is that the dev kept the incest only for NPC characters.

About Patreon tiers
A long time ago, the $3 tier of my Patreon page was only for Solvalley. The $6 tier was for HS Tutor and House Arrest. However, I made a mistake and even after I finished House Arrest, the $6 tier still promised updates to the game. I discovered that there were at least 2 patrons who paid me $6 without knowing that the game was already finished, and they were obviously a little disappointed. To try to make up for my mistake, I sort of canceled the $6 tier and moved everything to the $3 tier.
I haven't changed it since. Partly because what I currently get on Patreon, about 1.3k a month before taxes, is enough for me to pay all my bills, eat, and still put a little in a savings account. Yes, living in a godforsaken shithole has its advantages. The downside is that leaving the house is always a life or death adventure (in fact, I almost died a few times).
Anyway, I'll probably revive the $6 level for the game that will follow Solvalley School. I have Honeymoon Island, which is a new project, it would theoretically be in the $6 tier, but I know that some people have already signed up for the $3 tier because of that game, so I'll probably keep it in that tier. I'm not sure what to do with this game yet...

Remember those scenes that were 99% done? They're actually 100% done, the only thing left to do is to turn their text into something Ren'py can understand.
I haven't touched any of them yet, though, mainly because I still have some scenes to finish, but I need some time away from Solvalley now so I don't overdose. That's why I ask for patience from those who are waiting for the rest of the scenes.
