As for the statement that only on F95 storyline critic came up: Is it possible that Palmer´s patreons are partly the same ones which back gumdrop´s Dual Family? Those are likewise backer you can tell that Earth is flat and the sun rises in the north without them raising a fuss.

Liked for just that last bit. That just made me lol.
And yeah, saying that the criticism was only voiced here and not on patreon, if true that just goes to show that there are people who blindly follow devs. Why should it be any different with this type of games as it is with triple A titles?

I do remember though that when people here started complaining about Amanda's change in behaviour, that several of Palmer's actual patrons posted here saying that the explanation wasn't working and that her character was destroyed in their eyes.

So there were at least a few patrons who felt that way.

Back before the drama I was dead set on choosing her and saw all other girls just as a distraction, but now Lily is my number one.

I read some time ago, that its revealed the daugther isn't actually the MC's daugther, instead some randos guy and the mother basically is some lying crackwhore or whatever. Any of that true? Bio daugther especially?
I played the earlier free versions before anything happened with the daugther only.

No. Its the MC's real daughter but Patreon TOS cracked down on incest so its his childhood buddy or some shit now.

I am dumb as a post IRL. I just have better vocabulary than intelligence (or so I'm told).

Why do I mention that? I really hate that, in a story, a character does something more stupid / unwise than I would. I mean, my friends even say during a show "If (my RL name) can figure this out... why can't they?". i.e. feels artificial 'drama for drama's' sake.

Amanda fits that story based description FOR ME, including later chapters. I know. Opinion varies.

Finally... this is a game. IRL, I can't take 20-40 arrows to the chest like I can in an RPG. Those are the games I like. I don't play survival / realistic anything.

As far as porn games are concerned, I'm more of a VN / Scene selector than a "realistic" porn game.

Not saying those are bad at all. Just not my preference.

I do appreciate the hard work, sure. But for a game called DFD... the resolution of the D part... wasn't satisfying FOR ME. Thanks again though.

One suggestion for DH, though - make the online and offline saves compatible. Too late for DFD, but DH just started.

Personally for me the issue in the DFD story arc was the aunt’s character.

Had the Aunt started out sweet, charming and caring while slowly poisoning Amanda against the MC, her betrayal would have been understandable. You’d think it was stupid of Amanda to take what the Aunt had to say at face value, but she’s young, impressionable and too eager to reconnect with the mother’s memory and the aunt seemed so nice that she let herself be blinded. And personally, I’d have no problem forgiving her (Although I’d still want an apology and an episode or two to rebuilt trust)

However, the aunt come off as the wicked witch, looking down at everyone around her, spewing hatred everywhere she goes. So, it makes absolutely no sense for Amanda to believe a single word out of her mouth. And all I can think when putting myself in the MC shoes is that I’m hurt that you’d for one second believe all the wicked think this clearly vile and vindictive woman would say about me and even worse not give me chance to defend myself.

Having said all that, I’m still a fan of DFD. It’s a great game and I love the renders. And I’m looking forward to playing the last 2 episodes. Still need to get me some of that Heidi fix, always did have a thing for redheads

Keep up the good work Palmer, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how Double Homework plays out. Specially considering we get a double dose of cute redheads
